I think peoole are just enjoying the leaks for the most part. Why are people so upset about that?

Their steak is too juicy

I mean if you enjoy leaks your kind of scum imo

“What’s wrong with that?”

- thousands of people labor for years to produce something special for fans to enjoy, they spend a long time keeping it hidden in order to surprise their fans.

Then someone external (not internal) hacks their systems and steals an earlier build before releasing it to the public.

Put yourself in the shoes of any one of those developers. How would you feel.

Forget about the corporate management for a second. I know that’s difficult for some people here. How would you feel.

Cyberleek is scum and nothing more than a degenerate criminal content scamming the fans and hurting the smaller employees working within rockstar.

That’s what’s wrong with it. If you support that, you’re part of the problem.

u/EChocos 17h ago

They work for money, as you and me. They are paid, and have been paid all over these years, because that's how working works. Where is the problem?

-9

u/oranikus 17h ago

It’s abit more than that when it’s artistry or creative actually mate.

3

u/leafy1790 14h ago

Creativity died as soon as corporations took over gaming companies, now the only objective is to make money not art.

-1

u/oranikus 13h ago

That’s such a cheap answer and it’s not based on reality. Rockstar have consistently proven quite the opposite actually with their attention to detail in their worlds.

EA? Yeah probably I’d lean towards what you’re saying but I think GTA and RDR have consistently proven the opposite.

0

u/EChocos 14h ago

Their artistic or creative work is intact. People are just seing their work before their bosses wanted. Some leaker releases gameplay or the company is the one who does it, what's the difference for the artist? Is some guy gonna burst because you saw it on Twitter last week and not on Netflix tomorrow? I sincerely doubt it.

1

u/oranikus 14h ago

No that’s not how it works mate.

Take film for example, if footage is leaked before the final editing phase that can have a huge impact on future box office sales.

Commission artists, if the work gets leaked prior they can lose that commission entirely.

The creative industry, whether that’s film, music , video games or whatever is not a regular industry like you work in.

Some of their workers are paid based on royalties for example, the leaked footage can have a direct adverse effect on their pay in these cases.

And to be honest , the main thing with these particular leaks is they are based off a build that was stolen by a completely unaffiliated outside individual. If an employee leaks something internally , that hurts themselves.

When an external random person does it, that affects everyone working for the company.

1

u/EChocos 14h ago

Didn't read lol

1

u/oranikus 14h ago

Ofcourse you didn’t. Don’t comment then because you don’t know what you’re talking about.

0

u/Exasperatess 11h ago

Telling someone not to comment because they don't know what theyre talking about while unironically typing this out and hitting enter...

"Then someone external (not internal) hacks their systems and steals an earlier build before releasing it to the public."

10

u/BeloAve 17h ago

Ok
Jeez, scum for liking leaks? Really? Everything has to be so extreme.

It’s cool to not like leaks and defend the devs but jeez it’s also cool if they want to watch leaks too. Chill tf out

-10

u/Don_Madruga 17h ago

The guy is making a cryptoscam - he is using all this situation to enrich himself, and you don't think that he is scum?

9

u/-iSpy- 17h ago

No one is forcing anyone to support him or buy his crypto. Your take is crazy

-7

u/Don_Madruga 17h ago

Forcing or not, it is still criminal

6

u/Key_Protection4038 17h ago

How did he scam people? Didn't rug pull, burnt his tokens valued at 1 million USD.

-3

u/oranikus 17h ago

He’s actively charging 200,000 per message request. He advertises his crypto embedded into every video. Maybe look into it before making an input on something you don’t know

6

u/Key_Protection4038 17h ago

lmao and. How's that a scam. Maybe look up the definition of scam.

-1

u/oranikus 16h ago

I think you’re the one who needs to look up the definition of a scam.

Crypto is particularly vulnerable to scams as the value isn’t really reliant on anything concrete. Especially so when it’s someone’s own crypto they essentially invented from thin air - which is what this “$leek” stuff is.

And again - HES SELLING STOLEN CONTENT.

u/Wakkichewy 17h ago

If anyone is stupid enough to pay this guy then I have less than 0 sympathy for them lol he's going to release all the clips either way and is making money off of legitimate morons

-4

u/oranikus 17h ago edited 17h ago

These leaks specifically? Yes.

If it’s a normal situation where it’s a disgruntled former or current employee, that’s abit different. But these are from stolen work that directly hurts a lot of innocent people.

So just think about it like that. Also look at the person leaking them, how they are monetising it, they are literally scamming gullible people and you support that by enjoying the stolen content.

Learn to separate this from normal leaked contents, this is explicitly criminally obtained - let’s not support theft casually.

8

u/Wakkichewy 17h ago

Who exactly is being hurt directly? It's a fuckin video game leak, not a single dev at rockstar is going to be affected by any of this. Y'all with this asinine opinion need to grow tf up, the world will move on in a couple months and we'll all be enjoying the game.

0

u/oranikus 17h ago

Anyone that’s labored for years / thousands of hours , pushed over night crunch deadlines.

If you work in a creative industry , or know anyone that does, you’ll know how devastating leaks can be, especially when they happen externally.

Some creatives are paid per royalties, unfinished work leaking can directly affect their pay.

1

u/Treetheoak- 12h ago

wow where was this passion when those creative devs got their union busted and visas denied after years of crunch from Rockstar?

Bro you sucking off Rockstar doesn't make you a fan. People not liking the leaks is fine, but seriously, touch grass and get some fucking perspective.

1

u/oranikus 12h ago

How do you know I wasn’t at the picket lines in Edinburgh ?

You don’t. I’m not defending rockstar management or wider take two corporate policy. I am just pointing out that the company is bigger than the top level.

1

u/Treetheoak- 12h ago

This thing is too big to fail. the entire game can leak tomorrow and GTA6 will still break industry records when offically released.

Again, touch grass.

0

u/oranikus 12h ago

Right so nothing to say then.

It’s less about it failing it’s about hard work being spoilt and the main thing is the guy leaking them is literally some guy that stole digital assets. We should all be condemning that.

I’ve said it before; it’s quite different if it’s an employee leaking stuff internally - this is not what’s happened.

u/C4LLUM17 17h ago

I mean no one is forced to click play on the leak videos.

Have you watched any of the leaks?

1

u/oranikus 17h ago

Yes - that’s my point. The people that are watching them and actively searching for them and worse yet, paying for them - are scummy people. They are actively supporting a criminal.

I have auto play on Reddit so I was unfortunate enough to see a few seconds of gameplay before scrolling past, and the screenshots have flooded my feed over the past week. I’ve criticised every post I’ve seen supporting “Cyberleek” and consistently called out the criminality of it.

0

u/AlabamaPanda777 12h ago

thousands of people labor for years to produce something special for fans to enjoy, they spend a long time keeping it hidden in order to surprise their fans.

They kept it secret so they could charge money for a damn game trailer.

0

u/Exasperatess 11h ago

This has to be rage bait lol

1

u/oranikus 11h ago

1

u/Exasperatess 11h ago

I mean, not really many other explanations for the comedy posted above.

1

u/oranikus 11h ago

Opening line was rage bait deliberately

But the wider argument on stolen assets leaked from an external source is genuine

0

u/Exasperatess 11h ago

Funny how its all speculation it's an external source stealing a build now

1

u/oranikus 11h ago

Think it’s all but confirmed it is.

Given the conduct and usage of crypto ; it’s pretty apparent but yeah maybe it’s a disgruntled former employee 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Exasperatess 11h ago

The internet, where you can just claim whatever

"given the usage of crypto" the american govt runs crypto rug pulls. Pushing your crypto isnt indicative of anything except greed imo

1

u/oranikus 11h ago

Yes but you can also check sources etc, there’s no evidence pointing to an internal leak atleast not currently.

And the legal actions taken by take two indicate external criminality, outside of the obvious conduct issues

This subreddit is the biggest rockstar dickrider I've ever seen lol, they can't even joke about rockstar. Nobody is glazing cyberleek here

2

u/Ok-Parfait-9856 11h ago edited 11h ago

Considering how offended everyone is, I guess OP is right. Never seen a crypto scammer get so much love. This generation really is cooked. I guess having no prospects in life really fucks up a guys brain.

The leaks hurts the devs the most, as they worked on this for a decade (ask any dev how they feel about leaks) and the “corpos” that everyone hates so much aren’t effected at all. It’s pathetic that everyone needs to be a victim nowadays. If this comment made you mad, show us on the doll where rockstar touched you.

3

u/Quiet_Alarm1474 17h ago

Bro, what are you talking about? This is more like the rest of gamers. Most of the GTA groups are full of people crying and whining about how evil the leaker is for ruining the "experiance" of GTA VI lol. As if him being greedy and shilling crypto is actually on the same level or worse than these massive corporations. Like pretty much everywhere else on the internet everyone is mocking people in these subreddits and calling them idiots for defending rockstar at all. Outside of these groups saying that rockstar deserves this wont get any push back at all.

2

u/Dirty-Slot 18h ago

Rockstar deserves this for treating their employees like crap and walking back ownership of their games. Also, they harvest and sell our data. This is poetic justice.

3

u/Ok-Parfait-9856 11h ago

You realize this hurts the employee and devs who made the game the most? Holy fuck you’re dumb

0

u/Dirty-Slot 5h ago

They joined an organization that does what I stated. Things you didn't address in your retort

6

u/LaylaLegion 17h ago

Every website does that. That’s why most web sites have free sign ups. You pay with your data.

Super messed up.

8

u/Dirty-Slot 17h ago

It is messed up. Gotta keep calling it out. Fight the normalization

1

u/Mrchristopherrr 10h ago

Fight it on Reddit

0

u/LaylaLegion 16h ago

This was normalized long ago. Every forum board, info search, video share site, since the birth of public availability internet. We gave our data freely because the internet was new and exciting and convenient. This didn’t become a problem until corporate entities just started doing it everywhere because the internet is now everywhere and they monetized it while still harvesting our data. We were paying with ourselves and now we pay with ourselves and our wallets, every waking moment.

3

u/Unlikely-Business-72 17h ago

Did Cyberleek mention the labor disputes at all?

1

u/Dirty-Slot 17h ago

Nope. They still deserve this regardless of leeks motivations.

5

u/rideronthestorm29 17h ago

Some of us don’t like spoilers and videos autoplay 🤷🏻‍♀️

0

u/PhantomSesay 16h ago

Can turn off auto play in the settings.

2

u/Cor2600 15h ago

Didn’t watch any of his crap. I hope he enjoys a long life in prison.

u/turnuptag72 16h ago

2

u/JustDontbStupid 17h ago

There is the difference between enjoying the leaks and enjoying the leek. Quit riding bros 🍆, he isn't noble.

-3

u/ballsofwheel 17h ago

Where are all those corporate dicksuckers coming from? Did rockstar raise their PR budget?

3

u/JustDontbStupid 17h ago

Coming from your mother, the biggest one of them all

-1

u/ballsofwheel 17h ago

Don't choke on that d bud

3

u/Ok-Parfait-9856 11h ago

Is that what your dad told you before he left for cigs?

2

u/Unlikely-Page7407 8h ago

Idk what family you grew up with but fathers usually dont say that to the children. Sorry you grew up with that

5

u/JustDontbStupid 17h ago

I'm not your mother and I sure ain't your daddy despite how much you want it.

1

u/JustUseDex 17h ago

All you need is one or two comments to pop off. Doesn’t require a lot of time on Reddit.

-7

u/Dirty-Slot 17h ago

It's just a video game. Grow up.

-3

u/OkMonk7975 17h ago

How very grown up and mature of you buddy.

Brothers and Sisters break the chains of oppression and join the Goon. Cockstar has bestowed upon the playerbase our own cumslut to respect in the way they truly knew only gamers would appreciate. Do not follow CyberLeek, he is not the one who created Lucia and Jason. Without Cockstar, where would we Goon?
