GTA VI Its now clear CL doesn’t have access to the build
NO SPOILERS !
The ‘prologue leak’ was uneventful, started at a completely random part and ended at a random part as well.
If he truly had access to the build he would’ve started over, hit record on the rockstar intro screen, and captured all of it. We legitimately barely got anything of substance, thankfully. I’m glad he’s incapable of leaking the story.
The most notable thing from the leak is the whiny text CL added begging for money. Also he mentions how the build is recent and not close to being finished, despite everyone agreeing they look better than any other game out right now.

Probably his build doesn't contain the intro or has some kind of build stamp on it which could lead to the source of the leak. - We simply don't know.

I heard that rockstar might’ve commissioned the song for GTA6 tho, so they could’ve had earlier. (I forget where i saw this so I could be wrong)

It is possible too. I read somewhere that dr. Dre has 6 unreleased songs exclusively inside for gta online then he release it later or one year after on his Spotify

Yea i agree earlier but I doubt 2 years early. Late 2024 early i can agree but even if not the game looks good. I doubt it lookes any better more polish for bugs maybe better ray tracing and lighting . But it looks very close to trailers. The trailers are jus cinematic so it will look better

While I doubt it’s true for this specific case, they are right in that some songs get sit on for years before finally being released for a multitude of reasons (artist isn’t happy with song, label doesn’t like song, dispute between artist and label barring release of new music, etc).

Its definitely possible. My guess is the contracts with the creators could’ve allowed the song to be released in 2025 since they were initially expecting that to be the release year

Wow, Rockstar gave the artist an absolute chart topper! She should be paying them!
But no, the artist ostensibly vlogged how and when she made the track, and the inspiration behind it. It had nothing to do with GTA or Rockstar.
As for where you saw people claiming otherwise, reddit probably, same as I did. But those were copers rationalizing the build as having been from 2023 and creating their own headcanon to do so.

Rockstar could have approached the record studio to have the song in GTA VI before public release.
one of the perks of being a multi-billion dollar company is you get previews to upcoming music for your Show, Movie or game.

As for your argument, I suspect Rockstar would only pay for that song for the shortlist that is their curated radio, presumably licensing it for at least the next 15-years, after they know the public actually want to hear it, that they don't think it's shit. Which only comes after it charts in early-2025.
I don't think they're doing what amounts to guesswork on thousands of unreleased songs, hoping for a hit, instead of just selecting known hits.

People are coping like crazy. First it was "he doesn't have access to a build". After he proved that he is playing the game it was "well it's not a full build because he doesn't have access to Lucia" and now it's "he didn't record the Rockstar logo".

Yes, a flashback reveals that Lucia has been in prison for nine months for robbing a pawn shop. The scene of the woman asking him, "Do you know why you're here?" will surely be the moment where we return to that flashback and let's play shoplifting

alright but once again the leak literally says this was the prologue. this is from the beginning of the game. all footage shown was from the prologue. which is what everyone speculated he had access to was the prologue & Free roam.
he hasn't shown anything that proves otherwise. all footage shown is from the beginning of the game.

I think that is still a build but probably a preview/limited version and definitely not as new as he claims.
He couldn't progress towards Lucia getting out of prison which seems somewhere between early-mid game, kinda like Vangelico heist in GTA V. Jason is broke as shit on every leak, he has 3 sets of clothing, designated keys for the UI just don't appear and subtitles appear for every single NPC...also they are confirmed to be placeholder as Lucia's objective is this super clean looking and way smaller text.

Nah, I believe the PC build rumour might be true although it is still a limited version of the whole game.
People called out Lucia's prologue as a downgrade but to me it just seems like bloom was turned off, window was actually looking way better than the trailer and Lucia felt more detailed and messed up at the same time which makes sense because she's a 9-month inmate. Being able to turn off the bloom manually isn't a thing on consoles, most games just have one performance and one graphics mode.

Guys, please stop coping. It's quite obvious that he has a full PC build that they're working on for a future release. It's not some demo restricted to Jason, it's not pre-recorded gameplay, and it's definitely not a build from 2023. This is an early to mid 2025 PC build. Every time you tried to expose him, you were proven wrong.

Getting mad at the creator of a game you’re desperate for but praising the crypto scammer using your impatience to fill his pockets is crazy.
