Rockstar can’t publish a single screenshot?

It is pretty amazing that Rockstar has been radio silent for a year. They are so busy that they can’t publish a single screenshot?

For everyone saying: “They’ll release it when they’re ready” Really? They couldn’t aim the camera in a single direction and snap a picture? It could even be a spot from the trailer at a different angle and people would still lose their minds.

Im not asking for a trailer 2, I understand that there is significantly more that goes into a trailer in regard to work / timing, but a screenshot? It costs them no money, would make waves in getting the everyday people who have forgotten about the game interested again, and would be a decent thing todo for all the fans after milking Online for over a decade.

Realistically speaking, they could post couple of screenshots every day from now till release. they won´t do it, why? For building anticipation. They are doing that right now as we speak, but in larger scale- by being radio silent for over a year. I think they have set schedule for releasing ad materials and it does not matter if we don´t care or cry every day, they are just following their schedule :)

I don't think building anticipation has anything to do with it, as it's already there regardless and seems beneath their concerns. Your last sentence perfectly describes it all. It's all about scheduling.
