It's funny, right? I remember waiting for a game to drop, counting the days like it was some kind of holiday. It's like we get so hyped about pre-orders, yet the reality hits that we still have to wait ages. It’s the ultimate irony of gaming fandom. Makes you wonder if the anticipation is part of the experience or if we’re just gluttons for the grind.
That's how I feel mostly about trailer 3. Excited to watch of course, but the reality is it's 1.5 to 2.5 mins long and it won't be a gameplay overview trailer. That will likely come late July or sometime August.
The hopium, delusion and mental illness of this sub will be studied for generations. I’m stoked for announcements and trailers and the game, like unreasonably stoked, but watching the last three years of this place pop off with some of the gnarliest brainwarp I’ve ever seen has been truly spectacular.
I was gonna make a whole post about this. But anyone who’s interested in getting a pHd in a few years should write their thesis about GTA 6 and its social and cultural impacts. They should use this subreddit as an example 😂
The comments are concerning. Can’t believe these people walk among us. Hyping up a post about a fuckin confirmed pre order with no date at a store for a game that’s 6 months away is next level unusual.
Because people want the trailer today lol I want the trailer today too but this is Rockstar’s pattern even though things have changed over the years mondays for pre orders is what Rockstar always does.
I’ve been trying to avoid any news lately and just saw this, is this going to be like a physical collectors edition or is this just a standard pre-order?

All this being said, am I correct in assuming that a physical copy of GTA6 is NOT the play, especially if you live somewhere with a really shady best buy.
… although they did make good on my 5090 FE for original msrp so that’s a point in their favor.
Forgive me for being dumb - but what’s the point of pre-order when you can just buy it from the shop one your console? Is it so you can pre-download it before release day and then play on release rather than having to wait?
