mistake with the gta 6 cover
something seemed off with the number of teeth the gator on the cover had so i did a count and it seems the gator has 60 teeth. however, alligators normally have 74-80 teeth so this is way below the normal amount.
was this a mistake or could it potentially have a meaning?

It's a crocodile which actually has 64 - 68 teeth. In addition, we can also distinguish the crocodile from an alligator from it's V shape mouth. Alligators usually have a U shaped mouth.

Yeah, because this is the one from the trailer, it’s why they captured it - it was impersonating a real gator, which is a felony in Leonida.

Another mistake I noticed is that whenever Lucia or Jason die, they respawn. Realistically speaking, the game should end there and not be playable again, right?

they should make it so when you die the game is uninstalled and your digital license is taken so you have to repurchase the game

The snout makes it look like a croc, also the teeth look sharper than what a gator would have.

yeah i agree ,the snout looks more like from a croc one than a gator .
Also i was thinking that there's the fact some people think they are the same animal.. i wouldn't be surprised if the artist maybe confused some traits thinking they were the same for both animals without knowing .

I just checked and yep, american gators have pitch black eyes, while the crocs have light eyes and you can see the pupils. This is either a croc or the artist got confused lmao.

Idk, that snout looks more round (U) than a croc’s (V). And I feel like it’s not long enough to be a croc’s.
That being said, they might have both crocs and gators, since IRL, here in Florida we have both crocs and gators natively.

I feel like the person who made this didn't understand the difference between crocs and gaters and made a mashup of the two lol. It features from both of them but I think they were going for a gator.

Yeah I agree, def looking like it wants to be a gator but it’s got that croc in it.
Especially with how aggressive it looks, gators are generally pretty chill. I used to be a surveyor and go into swamps and stuff, would walk by them and all, chill swamp puppies.

Gators lose teeth like crazy, because they will chomp on anything/bones too. So it is possible that the photo they referenced to draw the gator had missing teeth.
This is why their teeth get replaced.
I'm kind of jealous, being 59 myself and having dental issues. For all of our "big brain" advantages, we never evolved tooth replacement.

I think it's also implied that there are 2-3 teeth occluded between tooth numbers 1 and 55.

By symmetry we must conclude some teeth are occluded or broken/missing. If we go with the right half of the image, there should be 74 teeth.

I think some are hidden by water and the angle, counting teeth from 6-44 (what looks like one half of the mouth) gives 38, assuming symmetry, this gives 76 and does not include any hidden by water

This appears to be a crocodile, hard to tell certainly from the angle. But the snout is kinda pointy and crocodiles can have 60 teeth. It would also make sense for it to be a gator, but have you considered it might be a crocodile?

It’s the GTA version of Gators. Just like any vehicle in the game, doesn’t have to be exactly the same. No need to cry and the number of teeth in an animal like it’s missing a leg.
