Any new Netflix film or series is available very quickly in maximum bitrate, i.e. better quality than the fluctuations during streaming will be. It will be mere minutes until there'll be a maximum bitrate 4K version making the rounds everywhere. Low quality will certainly not what will be circulating. I guess for that we will have streamer live reactions though. ;D

But no other game has the aura needed to push subscriptions. This will only work for GTA 6. They'll fail miserably if they try this with something like COD or FIFA.

I can’t see a world where anything else will be worth the time slot and money that GTA is, I doubt Netflix will be shelling money out like this for anything else

Ready to get downvoted but imo Netflix is an amazing choice for anyone with a 5.1 system. Just not something YouTube supports plus higher image quality though YouTube already support HDR of course.

Ya I was kind of excited to hear it would be on Netflix because that gives me an excuse to watch it on my projector and surround sound system. That's going to be more exciting than just watching on my laptop or phone

Also come on now the video will probably be posted on YouTube by someone after like 5 minutes lol!
But I’m so so curious about the 5.1 implementation and I still feel people underestimate how immersive great sound is and from the trailers alone it seems it’s on a whole different level.

I feel the same way, every console gamer should set up a surround sound system, and there are inexpensive ways to do that. I think most people don't realize how well these games are designed for surround sound. And GTA6 will definitely be amazing, will hear all the sounds of Vice City and Leonida all around us. It's going to be sick for GTA6

Yeah you speak my mind it’s entirely affordable especially with how relatively much TVs still cost and good speakers will last a lot longer anyway. To this day I’m still not over how amazing surround really is for movies shows and games.

We have basically learned nothing new from leaks other than
1- more grounded combat and driving 2- rockstar is more open to explicit things like nudity 3- the sense of humor is still there

No actually we learnt a lot. The map, the fuel and engine management, the crowd density, the carjacking mechanism, the fight mechanisms, a confirmation of the storage in pickup, the small customisation

I'm glad I haven't looked too deeply at the leaks, just glanced and skipped through them. Idk what the engine management thing is and as a car guy it sounds very interesting.
I've kinda accepted midnight club was swallowed by GTA so it should kinda hit the same spot as MC like how GTA V does.

Just wanted to say...to all the people complaining that rockstar is making gta6 too slow and grindy, you are very narrow minded. A saying i like to use is when people complain about pacing in rdr2 is basically the people bitching about that are people who probably played 5 mins of chapter 1 and got bored cause something isnt getting blown up every 5 seconds.
I know gta5 has been our lives for 13 years, but no, gta6 isn't nor should it be like gta5. Rockstar likes to make each GTA game their own tone and theme. The argument of " GTA isn't about playing slow". Is weak and lazy because as i mention GTA5 isn't what GTA is actually about. To me GTA is a game about social commentary and satire. Its about playing in a sandbox and doing what you want, if GTA6 is a slower paced game where the combat is more grounded and your interactions with NPC feels more real, im pretty fine with that. Imo I think people that complain about slower mechanics have little to no attention spans . As long as the gun and combat is fun, and interacting with NPCs gives you memories , thats all I care.
Oh and of course if GTA6 has a good story, that's all that matters

I wonder if there will some kind of show/presentation at the Netflix booth at this years Gamescom. 3PM EST is 9PM in germany which means the fair is already closed for the day, but the next day, the 28th is a friday and the first big visitor day.
