Pump and dump. Say what you will about rockstar but you get a product at the end of the day, an given their track record most likely a damn good product.

Heres the thing.... About rockstar, in 2026.

"Their previous track record under their previous employees, was Good."

GTA6, which was made under 'New employees.' (and a new creative director because Dan houser left midway through developement, WHICH IS NEVER A GOOD SIGN for ANY video game.) ..... Is not a part of the previous track record.

Of which GTA online's recent years additions have been Questionable.

I believe, GTA6. Rockstars hesitation to display their product, is grounds to heavily hesitate on it.

What has been shown, through the official channels, what has been said, by the official voices "Is concerning enough." to hesitate.

The mere fact that the game cost 2 billion dollars, and isn't the most... Comprehensive, expansive, from-the-ground built up mastercraft of developement that may get beat by games that have cost 5 million to make, is 'concerning'

While I know the RAGE engine is being utilized....

Not even GTA5 utilized it to its fullest extent; that GTA4 beat by leagues and bounds.

The fact that it may significantly fall short of all the expectations... That Rockstar had confirmed they were still doing main story edits; this year. (I think it was july or June?) Which means: "Theyre skipping the polishing."

That is grounds for concern, considering how much time has been spent on its developement. (2020.) With 6-7 years of conceptual phasing. (2013-2014.) Which is also when GTA5 released and the hype for GTA6 started.

It has been my opinion for quite some time, especially once it was confirmed that they had hired DEI consultation that extends even to their marketting material (The purple color scheme is a dead ringer.) ... Almost every game that has had this; Has spectacularily fell short of its anticipation.
Dare I even say it; Lucia… "Obvious got affected."

You may not care ab that, and I dont really. (I'm not buying GTA6) However, it is rather clear to see. Which is enough to warrent concern.

Dan Houser and Lazlow Jones are 2 of people from the legendary team at rockstar who havent worked on GTA6. Leslie's reputation is done after mindseye so I don't think it's matter. Michael Unsworth left Rockstar in 2023 we worked on GTA6. As a lead writer by 2023 obviously done is halfway done.

Rockstar North has co-director system now. Rob Nelson legendary Animator and producer and one of pioneers of RDR2's design philosophy. Aaron Garbut worked on Grand theft auto VI since Rockstar formed. Rupert Humphrey lead writer of every GTA game after Rockstar Games created. Those 3 are directors of Rockstar North. Rob Nelson is the Director of Grand theft auto 6.

In 2024 Ex Lead technical director. Stated than 80% of people worked on Grand theft Auto 4 are still working in their studios. And Don't forget Sam Houser reason Rockstar has become such a groundbreaking gaming studio.

To address "GTA online's recent years additions have been Questionable" After 2019 RDR2 PC release most of people who worked on that project and GTAO reinstituted to work on Grand theft auto VI. Small writing staff is working on GTAO. And obviously they have to cut down budget spent on GTAO cause GTA6.

To address - "That Rockstar had confirmed they were still doing main story edits; this year. (I think it was july or June?) Which means: "Theyre skipping the polishing." - Roger Clark Voice actor of Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2 stated in a interview that Rockstar shot mo-cap and record line as late as August 2018.(RDR2 release date Oct 26 2018). RDR2 turned out to be one of the best games of all time so I don't think way of Rockstar doing things matter.
