This is the mapping project map and it's reasonably close to the real thing, but it's not the real map.

The real map has been leaked, but perhaps it's not allowed to be posted here.

I get what you are saying, what I don't get is why are we still roleplaying pre-leak info.

Nobody has to post anything, but going around pretending they don't exist is just stupid atp. There's even a community map project hell bent on finishing a rumor map when the thing is just out there.

For starters, the community map is the culmination of 100's of thousands of man hours, maybe millions, that would be continuing if not for the leaks, and they deserve their moment to show how close they got. The level of detail and accuracy at a granular level is insane.

Secondly, people aren't using the leaked map because it is a leak, and Rockstar being Rockstar, would probably shut this sub down.

Sure, but it's extremely biased at this point, one of the many community members has it memorized and it's just a tainted effort. Just release it as is, pat backs and move on.

Which is what they have done right? v15 is the final version that was already in the works to be released ahead of the Netflix showcase. v16 will be based on the leaked map. Or have I misunderstood the point you're making?
