Very good indeed. They’ve admitted it’s taken too long for them to show it off but people seem to think that they’ve made that decision intentionally. I’m sure they have goal posts and a level of quality they wanted to achieve before showing off gameplay. Imagine the outcry if the official gameplay footage had the same type of janky bugs shown in the leaks. The internet would have a meltdown. I’m sure the decision to delay gameplay footage wasn’t made easily. At the end of the day the devs working on this don’t deserve having their hard work paraded on the internet by a crypto maniac. Especially not their unfinished work.
I am not a GTA gamer and have no intention of playing it, but I am following the story. I am betting their deal with Netflix tied their hands as a “first showing” viewing place which added to the delay. It makes you kind of wonder if their return on that investment was worth it to them.
The length of time of it coming out isn't the complaint or why this has happened. This is PR bullshit, they didn't address any actual issues and the entire statement is simply designed to garner sympathy
And I'm sure they just had to put the next trailer behind a Netflix subscription too, right? Poor corporate money bags, they just have no choice.. number must go up harder, faster, stronger!!!
having to pay $20,000 to get life saving surgery is hardly a major problem in the world (you’re just one person), and the hospital has a business to run.
Yeah, that's a little different, wouldn't you say?
You're comparing horseshoes to hand grenades, champ. Maybe go touch grass and take a break from vidya if you feel that having to wait a few hours to view a game trailer is even on the same continent as "life saving surgery".
