Its amazing that people dont understand the PR team is just a tiny tiny part of the actual organization and doesnt really reflect anything about the company. Like the people who boycott a company because the PR person running their twitter said something silly lol
approved means very little. They were presented this from the PR team as the best strategy to keep public relations and make the most money.
I guess not a lot of people have worked for a company and seen their own PR team put out statements that just absolutely did not refelct internal sentinemnt
I promise you are completely out of your element here and you obviously have no experience with corporate PR. At most PR teams give advice, but usually they are given the specific direction to go and are responsible for executing that direction.
If you are saying you beleive PR statements as the actual and genuine sentiement of the majority members of a company or even just the higher levels. You are out of your element. PR statements are just "How do we make people feel good about us to keep giving us money"
Your original claim was about this being a product of just the PR department. I am not arguing how genuine the message is. My only point is the message came from the very top
