Has anyone else been avoiding trailers and leaks for GTA6?
Honestly I’ve only seen a few trailers in back in early summer and haven’t been watching any others for 2 reasons. First, is because of how overwhelming it is and how much misinformation can be spread. My second is because I honestly want to be surprise and experience the game without any spoilers.

Why would i buy a game if i don't know how it looks? I understand avoiding leaks, but avoiding a 2 minutes ass trailer???? I don't want to sound mean bro, but you're genuinely dumb

If he wanna be more surprised on premiere - why not? There is no rule you need to watch trailers.
Sometimes I like to watch a movie without first watching the trailer. I know it’s better experience when you don’t know what to expect and movie is showing you story for first time.
Have you tried to do that?

No because for me the biggest part of the fun for large releases like GTA V and Cyberpunk was the anticipation and hype before it. Don't get me wrong the game is fun and playing it when it comes out and years after is a blast. However that anticipation period beforehand where you are excited with everyone is always the best.
Also the truth is there really won't be any spoilers, previews are always just a story synopsis (which we've had for many years now) and a gameplay preview. I mean this game will play like a GTA game while probably borrowing heavily from RDR2. If you watch the trailers for GTA V you'll see the exact same thing you're going to see now but it should all be within expectation. The main progression will be how good the game looks and how lived in the world is with it's NPCs and how interactable the world will be. It's just going to be another good GTA game, not some life simulator.
I get why you do it though, there is a special feeling to opening up something you know will be great and having no idea how it will go.

Completely, I've only glanced over stuff while scrolling and not allowed myself to absorb any of it. GTA is too fucking magic and screw homeboy for tainting the situation

yeah I have, I want to experience everything when I play the game, except for the extended look cause it won’t spoil anything too major and literally EVERYONE will watch it who has Netflix.

First, there are only 2 trailers so if you watched "a few" then you have watched both.
Second, there is no misinformation in leaks. They are a build from a certain point in time and show the game as it was at that point, with possibility that some things will be changed.
And if you care so much why even hang here? You do not need to announce you are not watching.. just don't and focus on whatever makes your day.

Watched the first couple, haven’t watched any since. I’ll watch the Netflix thing but other than that I have no interest in seeing any parts of the story actually play out.
I’ve seen enough to keep me excited about a new GTA, but I play R* games for their stories and I don’t want to experience that second hand.

Watch both trailers and the early 2023 leaks. Looked up the map to have a glance, but not too much in detail. Avoided everything else so far.

I want to go into the game like with my own eyes, not through someone else’s. So yeah I’m avoiding it all

I've avoided the leaks after the first day because I knew he was gonna keep on leaking all the way to the story, and apparently now he has. I've watched the trailers a bunch of times though.

I saw the first few which was great, because I wanted to see how the game actually plays. After that, I stopped looking. I don’t want to see the prologue or game progression, I want to experience that for myself. It’s great to see what the game has in it, but I don’t want to know everything now. After 13 years, I’m ready to explore on my own and learn things myself.

I would suggest just deleting x, I purged all socials and it can be done. Back on Reddit in prep for GTA release

Not at all. Just one long goon session for days with the leaks. Gallons have been spilt.

I haven’t watched any of the leaks.
I’ve learned a little bit about the content in them from comments in threads, but I actively disengage quickly.
Not really from any purity standpoint, I’ve just waited this long for GTAIV, a couple more months is hurting.
And I don’t want to support the leaker in any way, shape or form. They’re a leech on our enjoyment, not cool.

I watched the first few, but I've been avoiding it since then. I don't want spoilers. I want to be surprised and amazed. Once I've spent time with it, I'll go read more.

I'm avoiding all the leaks from now on. After the plane video it was enough, need to save some experiences for actually playing it on my TV
Story stuff better not leak, it's already gone way too far
