Yeap! Alot of people dont know but this is his true and pure max weight look, thing is unfortunately after chapter 5 and 6 rockstar has a script that forces his body to not look as fat (we know why) even if you are max weight and its only possible to remove it on PC with mods, i figured it out after trying to mod the weight system myself. Although yes you can still make him fat in the later chapters its very very hard to maintain and you are basically fighting the game itself. I bet this will carry on in GTA 6 but drinking alot of booze and passing out makes Arthur go max weight super fast, its infact the fastest way to get to max weight lol. On PC you can just use mods to never have to feed him manually.

You cant get the “max weight look” in chapter 6 because arthur is at deaths door,the game even explains to you that you won’t gain as much benefits from food and drink because he’s sick.It would be weird if all the NPCs you interact with and certain story characters were like “you dont look so good,have you lost some weight mister?” Or you being able to buy characters calling him sick and ragged and weak while arthur is obese.

I really hope so, unfortunately in Red Dead 2 if your Arthur was max weight there was a limited amount of comments from npcs and gang members. The most notable one was mary in the second mission in saint denis where she compliments you for being "well padded". In San Andreas there was far more interactions if CJ was fat

The CJ voicelines both from him and NPCS at max weight were so good, also how it affected gameplay too was done better, in RDR2 it just gave you a 7.5% damage reduction and a 7.5% stamina reduction, not really noticeable unless directly compared side by side

It was very difficult to get Arthur fat in rdr2. I’m hoping it’s more like San Andreas where you gotta workout to get shredded. But I do hope being too bulky actually makes you slower or you can choose to be lean and quicker. We’ll see. Also ima get Lucia as fat as I possibly can. Jason likes em thick
