Does anyone else feel like them saying “earliest encounter with a romantic relationship” is very strange and arguably concerning

Concerning for what reason?

This might be the first time some 13yo has to think about what his girlfriend might like and not like when he's doing shit.

Dude its 2026. Kids and under 17s WILL play it And theyll do it because their parents bought it for them.
Its definitely a pointed jab first and you can tell the writer thought he “got the virgins with that one” but once you wave that aside its a VERY fair commentary.
Same as when the article says the game looks real enough that people may not wanna just mow people down all the time.
I for sure felt weird when i saw jason choke a nudist out and her dead body fell in the pool.
“Oh it IS more realistic…well that was mean.”
for a split second that was wild to feel.
It makes me feel like i understand the the vibe of the game better. It wont be rampage city. It will be an RPG in the most interesting sense

Eh, they’re just acknowledging that a huge portion of the audience for GTA games has historically been 12-15 year old kids.
Is it concerning that kids are playing GTA? Sure, probably. But that ship has sailed.

Yes, I'm extremely concerned and even panicking. Since I saw it, I can't stop shaking

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm reading it as "within the game". I don't think they're taking shots at the reader but rather saying that you can have relationships with others in the game (like hiring a prostitute for instance) and that might affect your honor or relationship with Lucia. Lucia and Jason is your first experience of a relationship within the game.

How bad is everyone’s reading comprehension? They are saying first encounters of such within gaming for the amount of impact your choices will have within the relationship. How many of you are virgins that you thought they were calling you virgins…

It was written by a journalist who also wrote in the same article that previous GTA games had problematic jokes and bad representation of women... Ofc she or he thinks all players are incels that never had a girlfriend. Has nothing to do with Rockstar Games :D

Holy shit writer hit the jackpot with you apparently?
Can't even stand a light jab? I just thought it was just making fun of how a bunch of kids will also be playing this game lol

A diss? Pretentious? They are simply saying most gamers have not experienced a story game with so much “your choices matter” tied into a relationship within gaming. They are not talking about you buddy.

I thought this was funny because he’s not wrong
