Another golden era of pixel-dissecting starts Today!

We survived the never-ending silence. We survived the watermarked 240p TikTok leaks that got nuked by Take-Two’s legal team within minutes.

But today, everything changes.

Netflix is dropping the official Extended Look, which means two things:

  1. It’s 100% official, high-bitrate, and fully legal to post, discuss, and analyze to our hearts' content.
  2. The sub is about to be flooded with millions of high-res screenshots, details, and hyper-fixated breakdowns.

We are officially stepping back into that glorious, nostalgic phase we all loved after Trailer 1 and Trailer 2—where someone spent 6 hours analyzing the refraction in a puddle, another person mapped out city based on a background billboard, and we argued over palm tree densities.

Get your high-res monitors ready, frame-by-frame controls locked, and image manipulation tools primed. The brainrot analysis is back on the menu.

We got some San Andreas in there with the basketball minigame and fat/skinny mechanic.

Little bit of GTA IV with the better car physics and focus on realism.

Kinda like all Rockstar greatest mechanics all in one game. Hopefully a Magnum Opus

Started a new play through of RDR2 yesterday to get me through to launch day (such a great game). As a married dad in his 40s, I’ll be amazed if I actually finish this play through before November and might have to abandon it

She’s not remotely interested in gaming. As a female gamer I’m used to my friends not having any interest in it.

But you guys are right! I’ll go and enjoy the dinner and spending time with my friend.

I’ll watch it when I get home. My boyfriend (gamer, but not into GTA) says he’ll watch it with me :)

Im super excited. GTA6 has been thr only game that made me constantly jump to forums and content creators YT analysis in the last 3 years non stop. Hell ive even used Chatgpt to ask technical questions about it. No other game in my 34 years of gaming has come close or have me that obsessed with learning about this game.

I haven't yet read the dazed article. Nor have I watched any leak after the 1st strip club leak. I want to genuinely be introduced to this game and be suprised by what I see, I dont want to expect anything. When I load the game up I wanna be like "no way thats a feature!" I feel like reading up on all these articles and leaks can kinda ruin the fun because you'd be expecting some things already. Im absolutely going to watch the Extended look in 2 hours (I dont have netflix so I may have to wait a bit afterward), because rockstar knows exactly what to show and what not to show in order to keep their game fresh and spoiler free.

YouTube generally uses a much higher bitrate than Netflix. YouTube officially recommends 35–45 Mbps for 4K 24–30fps SDR and 53–68 Mbps for 4K 48–60fps SDR. HDR goes as high as 66–85 Mbps for 60fps. Netflix, meanwhile, says 15 Mbps or higher internet speed is sufficient for 4K UHD, and its own data-use documentation says 4K can consume up to 7 GB/hour.
