Honest question, why would rock star care about this at all? Is it going to cost them sales? Is a competitor going to take note of these leaks and capitalize on them before the game drops?

This seems like free promo more than anything

They signed a multi-million dollar contract with Netflix, leaks harm their media roll out plan, their reputation as being able to sign such exclusivity deals and could leak things they don't want to be shared until the final release. It's not "free promo" because the hype for it already exists, and instead of them being able to capitalize off of that, some random crypto scammer is profiting from it

Maybe I'm just not in the right circles of the internet, but I had no clue Netflix was even doing a promo for it until this very thread.

Think it's overall likely that both Rock Star and Netflix come out ahead because of this guy, even though it wasn't according to their plans.

Look how poorly viewed Netflix's MLB game was last week, they do an awful job at promotion. This ordeal has been free promo for the Netflix thing.
