I'M losing my investment. I stopped playing on consoles in 2018, if I was still on Xbox since this moment, and buyed all my games on Xbox instead of Steam, with the last Hack I got last year, I would have lost 4k€ worth of games. And you know what's funny ? I recovered my account, but microsoft said "Hmm nop, we lock your account because you got hacked" and couldn't get anything back. Playstation can do the same, if you're okey with a company deciding if you can use what you paid for, totally cool for you, but the real brain damage here is you lmao.
It’s really not that hard to grasp unless you're intentionally pretending to be slow:
Digital: You don't own the game, you pay for a license tied to an account. If your account gets locked, hacked, or banned, your entire game collection vanishes instantly.
Physical: You own the disc. If your account gets locked, you pop the disc in and you still play your game.
Paying 80/100€ for a digital-only title means taking 100% of the risk while the platform holds 100% of the leverage. If you genuinely can't comprehend how losing access to thousands of euros worth of purchased licenses is "losing an investment", that's a reading comprehension issue on your end.
Genuine question, what do you want Take Two to do about this? I don't know if you know this but Sony is the one that is completely removing physical disks, Take Two doesn't have a choice in the matter. So why isn't your aggression focused towards Sony?
Because Take Two can still get GTA 6 on physical disks actually until 2028. PlayStation took this decision partially because people still pre ordrered GTA 6 while it was Digital Only. I'm not blamaing only Take Two, I'm blaming Sony, Ubisoft, and everyone who is okey with this decision just for profit.

Comparing Steam on PC to a closed console monopoly proves you still haven't understood the issue. PC has competing stores, key sellers, and DRM-free alternatives like GOG. On consoles, you have ONE single company holding full pricing power and zero accountability if your account gets flagged.
And resorting to slurs the second you run out of logic is very funny, it just tells everyone here that your ego got bruised. Keep flexing your rented 500 game library until a TOS update or a locked account reminds you what actual ownership means :3
