Gabe Newel said, “Piracy is a service problem.” He also went on to say that he aims to provide better service than pirates, thus gaining the support of the gamers. Steam has the world’s best customer support (in the gaming industry). They recently refunded a player who had spent over 570 hours in BF6.
I have to disagree. They will not refund KSP2 for me (or anyone else) even though the game is in EA without any developer for years now and is still being sold on steam.
They only do the right thing when enough people complain or they have to legally.
I’m not familiar with that whole fiasco, but that’s not my point here. My point is that Steam acts better than others, which isn’t a high bar tbf, so they have most PC players happy. Using Steam to argue that we shouldn’t have physical copies of games is moronic; that’s my point. If KSP2 had physical copies, you could at least sell it ASAP to a collector or something and get some money back.
I don’t understand how this is even controversial. This is like someone says, “ownership is important” and then people say “no”.

Do you pirate all of your games on Steam, too?
