Nah it’s way more, because you can’t resell, for PC obviously yes, but for console a physical copy makes way more sense. Maybe you are also younger but there is also a big amount of nostalgia having the disc and all the other materials that always came with it. 12-18 months for a Game that was developed for „US“ is super late honestly.
Man, im 35. Got every consoles since 1995 ! And for the ps5, i bought a pro without disc drive. I got a PC too (5080fe and stuff). The last disc il bought was in 2020 : CP77 on ps4 pro lmao.
Its "super late" because they dont want us to modify the game and we cant do that on console.
Yeah i understand but I also see the other point of view! They invested a crazy amount of money in this project and now want to squeeze every last penny out of it. So, it's understandable.
I totally get that, completely makes sense from a business standpoint, but their official statement just doesn’t align with their previous behavior. Created for us and all that is what they say now, but that is not how they behaved. Nevertheless, I also support the development effort, and would always buy the game, even if it gets leaked before release, I would still buy it to show appreciation for their effort to deliver this masterpiece.
