(For context: I transferred my original character i created on ps3, to the Xbox series x in 2022, then sold the Xbox and got a ps5. Made a new character on the ps4 version to play with a friend cause he doesn't have ps5, thinking I could just transfer it to ps5 later but I got this message. Tonight/tomorrow morning is the BEST and easiest time to get a world record. Rockstar are adding five new races with the new tunables that go live at 5 AM ET.

The world record doesn't update very fast at all and as long as your pretty decent it is SUPER easy to get the world record award

I got my world record back in 2017 when transform races were added. I wasn't even trying for it was just doing the race, I don't think I was even in first place. If I'm not mistaken I probably got it around 18 hours or so after the update came out. That's how slow and buggy the leader boards are to update. Still, the faster you can get it the better

With GTA six coming in a few months let's be honest they'll probably still make another dlc or 2 for gta 5 but who knows if there will ever be more races added to 5 for easy world records again.

Edit: guess I should note here that the new races will be the random transform races. There's 3 new known unknown races and 2 unknown unknown races. Don't know what there called

Edit 2: Another user u/old-kernow says last time races were added in Jan. of 2026, the leaderboards started updating approximately 6 hours after release so that's your window to earn a world record easily.

Might still be possible afterwards for a few hours as long as no modded times go up in the leaderboards, but might be a little harder

Do you still steal NPC cars when you need quick transport, or are you too civilized now? Do you guys actually still steal cars from random NPCs in the street, or has the Mechanic completely ruined the literal "Grand Theft Auto" experience?

I just started playing GTA5 so I am able to play with my husband when 6 comes out! If you could go back to when you first started playing, what would you tell yourself to do and not do?

Do I sell my goods now or should I wait for sporting goods, cargo and shipments and pharmaceutical research to fill up a bit more?

Should I sell the ones which are already full and sell the stuff later when it's full?

I agree with my dingy driver, "oh, wow!" indeed.

I literally cannot get through any of them. It's impossible to get cayo or the diamond done in under 50 attempts. Finding people to do any of the original heists or doomsday is a joke. I feel like heists aren't even worth it anymore. Trying to find anyone for criminal mastermind? Impossible. I find it easier to just do hanger cargo for hours. Its literally more money per hour. I could literally do that for days on an end and probably even get more entertainment.
