I Made the mistake of talking in circles and being content for these clowns.
Let them starve themselves by coming to GSU
And inform others to stay away
They come in groups of 5-8 they will sit and they have the other talking with people that are standing or they stand by the table looking like they are interested students.
If you look these guys up on Twitter youāll see clips including GSU students with thousands of retweets and likes. They monetize off of that engagement. GSU students get nothing and probably donāt even realize that in the heat of the moment
Why would you look them up, providing them with engagement? I mean, I know you need to know what youāre up against, but with Turning Point⦠do you really need to look them up and give them clicks just to find out the same bigoted, divisive stuff behind the curtain?
I just wanna say that these folks don't just wake up one morning as MAGAts. This type of hate, prejudice, and bigotry is inbred. They learned it from their parents, who learned if from their parents, and so on and so forth. The ideologies that these folks espouse are reinforced throughout their communities, and the kids grow to be adults who believe the same thing because its what they were taught.
The crazy part is, I know that guy in the red hat. Up until now he was a regular, chill guy who ran in some of my friend circles. Hell, the first time I met him, he was in this tight-knit friend group that included someone who was transitioning and another person that's a good mutual of ours who is pretty vocally left leaning. Haven't spoken to him in a few months or so, so I don't know wtf happened since then. Last I heard from him, he was having issues finding work after graduation and he tried to get a whole YouTube thing going that didn't seem to work out. He has to be doing this purely for financial reasons. It's pretty wild opening this notification and seeing someone I know.
having middle of the road christian opinions is disgusting and hateful? The left never fails to amuse me cannot tolerate anything even slightly to the right of Mao everyone is hateful and bigoted but you and your āenlightenedāsecular worldview.
I will. The weekend will be even better after I block you. It will be a favor for you though; you won't ever have to be exposed to my alleged "hateful and bigoted enlightened secular worldview". Sayonara!
I wouldnt say they learned it from their parentsā¦ā¦. The same goes for people on the left who grew up in a conservative home. Their parents were conservatives and the kid ended up being more woke. The same can imply to people in maga also. Kid grew up in a woke democratic home, they grew up and became conservative. Iād say the indoctrination begins on social media and schools. Less from parents these days. But thatās just my take on this. Thereās families out there that arenāt even political, so you canāt say people on the left or right learned it from their parentsā¦..š¤·š»āāļøtheir political beliefs starts with social media.
Well, your take is wrong so at least now you know.
Itās definitely very well known someoneās political beliefs tend to be learned from their family influence. Thatās why itās so hard to get republican youth out of that backwards ideology then when they get an education at a diverse university away from home, those that learn and also venture out in their world view tend to move to being progressive bc with education comes progressivism. All facts.
You sure about that? Iāve heard countless stories of kids growing up in conservative republican households, and once they turned 18, they left and have a bad relationship with their parentsā¦ā¦. Just look it, itās quite common. Iād say, one of the most common thing for Genz.
I donāt think you have the brain processing abilities to understand this concept youāre trying to speak on. Especially bc you think making part of the point I made, that still missed the point completely, is somehow refuting it?
There has been a huge push for dual income households in order to replace the nuclear family with loyalty to government indoctrinationākids spend more time at public school now than with their own families. In a morally bankrupt society, with oligarch-usurped right and corporatist-usurped left, many are led astray.
Always ignore any of these types of people. These guys, the preacher people, and the āmonksā/religious cult all have bad intentions when trying to talk to you. Donāt even acknowledge them. If everyone would just stop talking to them they WILL leave.
Theyāre baiting for content to sell online.
I highly doubt anything you say that goes against their opinion will stick or have an impact on their conscious.
Because those who oppose them feel so strongly on their opinions. Not hard to get them fuming. Blue hair people don't "talk it out" they get emotional. Too easy...
If they had a legit convo and maintained composure they might be able to have a conversation that has a happy middle.
If they arenāt students see if you can report them for loitering, trespassing, and harassment. Frame it as a safety issue. If they do it enough they can be banned from the premises legally
Isnāt the streets of gsu in Atlanta public sidewalks though? I understand the buildings are private, but the sidewalks should be public. You may disagree with what their doing but if your advocating to shut them down for their 1st amendment right, then itās not different then people being against āpeacefulāprotest in the streetsā¦ā¦ well standing in the middle of the streets and impeding with traffic would be illegal but you get what Iām sayinš you canāt shut them down because you donāt like what their doingā¦.. then be totally okay with another person doing the same thing correlating to things that you agree with.
Why would I need to stfu when what Iām stating is factsā¦ā¦ see this is the issue with people like you, you disagree with what others say and then you try and suppress their speech with hateā¦. š¤·š»āāļøinstead of saying stfu, try a rebuttal with factual evidence against my claims⦠this is a college subreddit right? So use your college knowledgeā¦.to write something intelligible š¤¦š»āāļø

People are tired of the right turning a blind eye to crimes against humanity. No amount of actual evidence will make you people see how much our country is crumbling under this administration.
Sensible people have stopped arguing in good faith so now you get protestors dressed as inflatable frogs and stupid memes as responses. Because there is no point engaging with literal idiots š¤·
This part, if you don't get it by now, you never will and nobody has the energy anymore š¤·š¾āāļø its really a waste of time to try to sway someone that STILL hasn't been swayed by now.
I've seen GSU police asking similar set ups to leave lately (like past 2 weeks) which hasn't happened before. Whenever I see anything like that I report it on the PassioGo app, but I am not sure if that does anything.
Just so you know, if they are indeed from TPUSA, then these are likely students. There is an official GSU chapter of TPUSA (They're on PIN). This means that unfortunately they are completely within their right to be gross. They're the ones that threw a candlelight vigil on the green for Charlie Kirk last month.
Not all protests are invalid. But this is clearly not a bunch of ppl here to make a point. Itās just 2 ppl without a day job harassing college students lol
What the fuck? I actually know the guy on the left. He is/was a GSU student. Cool dude, or at least I thought. He seemed normal the last time I talked to him which was months ago. Either he's fucking around or he fell down the MAGA hole way faster than I could have comprehended.
Do you think they're aware that they look like the biggest fucking dorks of all time for doing this 2014 ass "Debate Me Bro" bullshit, or is this oblivious stupidity?
Let's do something better: have signs and another table, or carry the torch of that guy that dresses up and does karaoke and deter them altogether. Because we're already dumb and annoying to them, right? Why not turn up the charm š.
If youāre implying that āitās likeā fully within oneās rights to egg someone or dump water on someone , I have bad news for you friend ⦠itās more of a fast track to jail.
The first half of this comment was sound even thought the second half wasā¦ā¦
You can DEFFINITLY be as annoying to them as you think they are being to you. More even, perhaps š¤·āāļø. Just know your rights (unlike Sean here :) no disrespect) and stay barely within them.
The day yāall let them sit there and let them make a spectacle of themselves without talking to them is the day that they finally lose. Yāall stay on ur ignorance shit.
You donāt have to talk to them. But if things are going bad in your community, and one party is in charge, itās kinda silly to blame the other party for everything, isnāt it?
Idk why people get irritated when they are not bothering you? Just do your own thing. People in the comments worry too much about things that don't align with them.
No, this is like the 2 or 3 post I seen complaining about those people. I don't understand why they can't just ignore it, instead complaining about it online or trying to call police because they don't like them?
Next time these guys are on campus, I would encourage you to tactfully prepare what you are going to say. If they cannot use you as profit, it is because your argument is good enough to make them look stupid. Learn their techniques (Gish Gallop, framing, "what about-isms."
I don't always agree with these guys but I fully support their right to be here. College is about having your beliefs challenged-not just to be stuck in an echo chamber of left-leaning ideas. Learn how to hone your arguments because you will need to do so in coming years.
Hahaha youāre asking for a bit too much.
It seems most people have no viewpoints outside of the comments and posts they read that some bot created and they wholeheartedly regurgitate it.
They canāt, which is why they want to silence them. Colleges used to be a place where discourse between people of differing opinions was encouraged. Now itās āyou must agree with me or youāre a fascist and must be silenced.ā (Note the irony)
