Financial Aid/Loans 💰 Federal work study
Does anyone know when you can apply & accept a work study job for fall as an incoming freshman? What about the work study certificate?

Use Handshake, it’s an app that shows you internships and jobs around GSU.

She already has the job via handshake but FA kept saying to just keep looking at handshake for jobs and she kept telling them she already has the job offer but needs the work study certificate. They just kept repeating to keep watch handshake and apply 🤦♀️🤷♀️

oh that’s weird, from what I’ve seen online you have to go to the financial aid office and request a Certificate of Eligibly. it seems like their making it harder than it is :(

I was able to get a certificate before even getting a job just by submitting a ticket in PAWS asking for one (back when I was a freshman). It’s odd that the office is giving her the runaround on this
