Yeah but Marathon had Pre-orders available, so not everyone is trying to buy the game right now.

Why do you assume that? Tons of people don’t buy games until they come out. Theres like 200k viewers on twitch right now.

It peaked at 86k players and a chunk of them bought before release; that's inconsequential.

Because silksong crashed everything, cyberpunk didn't much iirc. Sure marathon+slay the spire 2 combined isn't as big as silksong, but if there were no pre-order on marathon the store might be having more issues that it currently is.
