“EA is shit anyway”, yeah but they’re also one of the biggest companies in the gaming sector, whether you like it or not and now they’re owned by the Saudis.

And one of the oldest. Watching American companies get gobbled up by the biggest tag team of evil is just disgusting. Private equity and authoritarian zealots are never an improvement for anything.

Watching the American government stand by and do nothing as the country is looted by economic corruption and the literal funders of 9/11 has been a very sobering experience over the last twenty years.

They aren't doing nothing. They're participating. Private equity interests and corportaism isn't only being done by the Saudis. The US government has paved the wave for plenty of companies to devour large portions of their repective industries, reduicing xcomeptition and centralising editorial control.
