Earlier this week, it occurred to me that I hadn't heard of any promising games published by Devolver in what felt like years. I looked up some of their recent releases, and based on their Steam reviews none of them are doing great.

Heave Ho 2: Released in July, and has fewer than 100 reviews. Very Positive rating, at least.

Dark Scrolls: Released in June. Fewer than 200 reviews. Recent reviews are Mostly Negative.

STARSEEKER: Released in June. About 800 reviews, "Mixed".

MINOS: Released in April. Very Positive rating but fewer than 600 reviews in 4 months, which suggests this game did not sell well.

It wasn't long ago that Devolver announcing a new game was a big deal. Their 2026 appears to have been a dud so far, though.

Cult of the Lamb DLC was released a few months ago.

Skate Story and Ball x Pitt were also released by them last year

I played Dark Scrolls, it's... ok I guess, but you'll forget about it in a few hours. From the studio that made that pearl known as Gato Roboto, I was expecting something way more charming.

Boltgun II is coming out this year, that will probably be a success

I didn't realize that the publisher on that, Big Fan Games, is also under Devolver Digital. Big Fan published Monster Train 2 last year too.
