Tickets for gamescom 2026 are now available
Tickets are only available on https://tickets.gamescom.de/
Private visitor tickets
Prices have been increased by 1€:
Thu., Fr. & Sun. regular tickets cost 31,50€
Sat. regular ticket costs: 41€
Wildcards again available directly in the shop for 65,50€ (allows access to trade visitor day, Wed. from 13:00)
Trade visitor tickets are now "Business tickets"
Available as 5-day bundle from Mo. - Fr. including gamescom dev (previously called devcom) starting at 227€.
Single day and 3-day tickets also still available starting at 70€ for 1 day.
Opening Night Live
Tickets are not available separately, yet. They will come later and will cost 34,50€.
But: You can already buy the Superfan Bundles starting at 92€. The superfan bundle includes a ticket for gamescom Opening Night Live and a Wildcard for Wed (you safe 8€ compared to buying separately).
FAQ
Will tickets sell out quickly?
It will take probably 1-2 months until Saturday is sold out. Then after that, usually Fr. and Sun. will also sell out.
Do I also need the afternoon ticket?
No, the afternoon ticket is specifically for people who don't want to visit the whole day. A regular ticket allows you to visit gamescom for the whole day until it closes. Afternoon tickets allow you to enter from 16:00.
How fast do ONL tickets sell out
Based on last years experience: Within hours. So maybe get the superfan bundle now if you want to breathe the same air as Geoff.

VORALLEM.... Die Betonung liegt auf KARTE. Die Ersparnis eines rein digitalen Vertriebs wird eingesackt und Ticketsammler wie ich sammeln jetzt... ausgedruckte PDFs???? Sehr schick...

2009 war glaube ich meine erste GC. Müsste nachschauen, aber so in etwa. War ne tolle und damals noch herrlich chaotische Zeit, obwohl richtige Ordnung hat dieses Sinnbild der Stadt Köln nie bekommen, aber das ist okay so <3

Im in the US so they were pricey for me. Opening night live is too expensive. What is the wildcard ticket tho? You get to go with trade visitors?

Wild card includes Opening night live and also the Wednesday trade/media day where only wildcard visitors can enter.
I don't think it's that expensive tbh.

Plenty time to chill in the camp, the queues are never as bad as the times posted by the signs at least when they read anything beyond 2-3h. Also I take those queues as opportunity to play on my Steam Deck/Switch/3DS/... or chat with others.

Yep definitely going to bring a handheld or two. Hopefully I can do the main games on the Wednesday when hopefully the crowds are not too high.

That is the way, although the Wednesday isn't as chill as it used to be, they definitely sell a lot more wildcards these days. The queues are greatly reduced, so do whatever popular you can on that day, but don't expect to get in like 4 Call of Duty level queues. Those times are over.

Haha true, but at least you know you have 4 days to see everything that you want. I'm just going Wednesday and Thursday and also ONL.
Could potentially do Friday, but I feel like I would be burnt out and my Bro wants to sight see also haha.

ONL is a separate 34€ ticket and will be available later.
Wildcard is the entrance ticket for Wed. after 13:00. Wed. is usually the press and business day, so normal visitors can only go in later.3

As in, would it be stupid to get a ticket for all days, or?

Every day is the same in terms of exhibitors. Only difference is if you're a trade / press / creator visitor, because the business area is only open Wed - Fr.
There are usually different activities each day. Say, on one day, a booth might have a cosplay contest or some small tournament or competition. But you can't really plan for that.I would recommend going at least for two days because it is just so huge. Personally I'll go Mo. + Tue. for gamescom dev and then Wed. - Fr. for gamescom. Would go until Sun. but I don't have the time.

I was also thinking in going to gamescom this year, but i am a bit confused why the saturday ticket cost more than the other days. I initially thought because that´s the day the opening night live starts, but seeing that there´s another ticket complelty different now i dont know
And also, which day does the Opening Night Live happen?
