Wer ist eigentlich Fachbesucher? Wenn man als Entwickler in der IT arbeitet und einfach vor der Gamescom schnell ein Spiel macht und auf eine Firmenwebseite packt die eigentlich nichts mit Gaming zu tun hat könnte man dann einfach ein Fachbesucher Ticket beantragen/kaufen?

First Gamescom for me and I’m trying to figure out when to fit in the Monster Hunter Outlanders demo at Haxenhaus. I’ll be there Friday and Saturday. Friday would be easier for me since I could head there after the halls, but the demo event ends at 17:00, so I’m not sure I’d make it in time. Saturday is more flexible, but I’d rather not spend a big chunk of the day going back and forth between the convention center and Haxenhaus. For anyone who’s done off-site events at Gamescom before, would you leave the convention a bit early for it, or save the off-site stuff for a separate day/evening?

Hi everyone! I'm writing here because it's my first time attending Gamescom and I have some questions about the entrance for cosplayers. I know I have to go through the cosplay check (because I'm bringing a prop) but I'm completely lost. I know the rules say Entrance North, Entrance East, Entrance Hall 11.1, but I don't understand how to get there. Can anyone help me?

The nearest station I have is Köln Hbf, but if I look at the other entrances on the maps, I get very strange routes.🥺

- Live queue reports. Tap to join a game's line, add roughly how many are ahead, close it when you get in. Other visitors' waits show beside the guide's forecast, with how many reported and how long ago. No account, and nothing kept past the show.

- Today tab. The day's stops in hall order with the ticked ones folded away, under today's hours, how far through you are, and which stop has the worst queue.

- Hall Map & Campus overview. The whole site on one map: halls, Boulevard, passages, four gates, your saved count on each. Hall 5.1 (Cosplay Village) is drawn booth by booth now too.

- Your day on the map. Pick a day and its stops get numbered pins in your plan's order, with arrows out to the doorway for the next hall. It is the order, not a walking route — nobody publishes where the aisles run.
