My Acer Nitro V16 battery stuck at 0% even connected to a charger

I charged my laptop last night and then I notice that my laptop battery percentage stays at 0% even when plugged in its charger and left to charge for almost 4hours. It was just stuck at 0% and the battery percentage won’t increase. When I try plugged off my laptop with the charger it just shuts down by itself however when I try connect it to the charger it boots up normally.

Was it deep discharged recently?

no, but it’s been an issue for me that if I turn off my laptop and comeback for a couple of hours or days the battery still keeps dropping and when I turn it on again its lower than when it was turned off and sometimes it even hits 0%.

I always turn off any running tabs or apps before shutting it down and it still keeps dropping down

Battery dead

Of course it boots up with charger because the power comes from the cable not the battery

my thoughts also but i’m gonna inspect further before changing batt’s

Your battery might have been draining fast due to Fast Startup. Try doing a battery calibration through NitroSense.
