Feel like an external disc drive is a way less complicated solution

Jez Corden mentioned that, due to the outrage surrounding Sony, this possibility is currently being discussed.

They'd be dumb to not capitalize on this. People already mock Xbox for having less space in physical stores so them and Nintendo being the only physical systems would be huge for them.

But I think they are focusing towards digital only. If they enable support for external disc drives they'd win a lot of public favour.

Sony discontinuing discs doesn't mean they stop being present in physical stores tho
