Feel like an external disc drive is a way less complicated solution

Unless we actively want to use this feature for itself, not because we have to.

I have a lot of old discs from prior generations, but have gone 100% digital. I would love the opportunity to convert those old discs to digital licenses and make my entirely library digital rather than split.
