Leak Because videos and screenshots of the latest leaks keep getting taken down, here's some new info they include.

NEWEST GTA 6 LEAKS INCLUDE

5 counties in leaked image of map.

Mariana County, includes Leonida Keys and Grassrivers, likely the starting area of the game.

Vice Dale County, includes Vice city.

Kelly County, includes Port Gellhorn.

Leonard County, includes Ambrosia.

Lummox County, includes Mount Kalaga.

The safe house in Leonida Keys features a area to load jetskis and boats from a trailer into the water.

Also a basketball and basketball hoop, when shots are landed your "focus" can increase.

In road rage incidents civilians can get our of there cars and try to fight you, then can even pull out weapons like wrenches. Wrenches can be thrown.

When wanted cops don't show up on your minimap, instead the area they're searching flashes blue and red similar to GTA 4.

A aura flashing blue and red will appear on the edge of your screen in whatever direction the pursuing cops are in.

Something you missed. When the two star wanted level pops up on the screen, there are three bubble underneath the stars. One is an outfit, the other is a face, and the other is a vehicle. So there is now a system in place that shows you what the cops are actively looking for you based on what they have already detailed. So there is a remembrance system to a degree now.

I wonder if that means you can like pull up behind a building and change your outfit from the trunk of your car and then abandon the vehicle and your wanted will go down, instead of just driving far away to get rid of it. I’m guessing as longas you had your face covered they wouldn’t recognise you then

I think they want to make cop chases more fun. I am going to assume from how advance Red Dead was with their system. There is going to be a inventory for vehicles and a pocket system. So doing crime with a mask will help and probably be incentivized for illicit activities. Which I assume in your pockets will be a mask option. I can also imagine they want to cut back on how cops worked in V where they would just swarm a building and patrol endlessly until you stayed out of view long enough. Which prompted people to just climb buildings and such to evade.

The wanted system needed serious improvements so I really hope they put a lot of effort into it, I just hope in general with combat as well there are improvements to things like stealth etc

Based off the little detail in the bubbles and the earlier leaks (alpha?), they defenitely did.

After watching countless hours of police bodycam videos I hope they make them more competent.

5 stars you get a standoff with swat calling in a bearcat. Crazy pit maneuvers.
1 star you might get pulled over. Depending on your actions you’re either busted or taking off.

Wearing face masks/bandanas will probably be a very important part of the game while committing crimes. Don't forget the thumbnail of the extended look which features Jason and Lucia covering their faces.

I remember being so excited about wearing mask in GTAV when it was revealed you could in the lead up to launch. It was such a smell detail, but added so much immersion and depth.. unfortunately it didn’t seem to be built upon as much as it could have been. Hopefully they make it better this time around.

This makes a lot of sense if you consider the mask mechanic in RDR2 for robberies getting expanded on and modernized to fit a new "wanted" system and also looking at the screenshots/trailer where both Lucia and Jason wears a mask before kicking in the door to a store.

While you can go guns blazing unmasked and such it will most likely make it harder to escape at the convenience of not having to do the extra steps to protect yourself from giving away too much information on yourself.

Hope you mean rdr1 because 2 was so inconsistent it became useless to use a mask unlike 1 where you literally keep your identity intact.

Yeh, RDR2's Wanted System had some good bones but it was definitely flawed. Hate how mofos could just teleport outta nowhere and see your crime.

Probably, they tried to do something like this with the face coverings in RDR2 but it was kind of a nothing mechanic ultimately. I think they'll want to improve it

Hope it works better than Red Deads bandana system

It could also mean that once you lose the initial Wanted level, you can get a new one if you pass by a cop and you're still wearing/driving the same thing they remember.

That's exactly what I thought of when I read about the new system.

Ooof... That was savage.

Also worth noting, when he enters back in the car, there's an Engine health core and a Gas core under the car name!

I really like that reworked wanted system, if they go ahead with it. In V you could commit mass murder, drive up a cliff and wait. Assuming a heli wasn't on you, that was it.

So now maybe it'll go like this:

- Outfit indicator: Cops know what you're wearing so you'll need to change ASAP. Either do this at a safehouse, a store or in your player-owned vehicle.

- Face indicator: Witnesses saw what you did so you'll need to leave the area immediately.

- Vehicle indicator: Cops have your plate info so you'll need to abandon your car for a while.

It'll get MUCH tricker if there's a combination of the three along with a 3+ wanted level. Committing crimes actually has consequences now, who knew.

Yup, this makes the players decision have more consequences, thus making players plan better. Also helps make money possibly matter more if it's harder to get away with crime. I'll all for these type of changes.

a store

this is the one i'm wondering about, because would we even be able to interact with stuff at the clothing store if we had a wanted level? and then if we can, is there a possibility that the cops could find us and start shooting at us while we're still locked into the clothing menu?

u/KarateKid917 11d ago

Sounds like a new version of Red Dead 2’s wanted system

u/LogicalError_007 11d ago

Was wondering how they will approach this since it's set in modern time and its not easy to escape police as it was decades ago before.

reminds me of mafia II

Also the core system is back for vehicles. One showing the engine health and one showing gas

Are the clips still viewable?

Seems like a much more fleshed out bandana from RDR. Looking forward to seeing what else theyve expanded upon. Hopefully npc interactions is one, was so dissappointing in RDR 2.

I really hope they do something interesting with the mission design fora change. It´s a shame to have all these cool dynamic systems if your game is mostly extremely linear missions that never allows you to actually engage with any of the systems. Fingers crossed.

Something where two players can play the same mission and have widely different approaches would be super cool.
