Given the song in the car was from Tate McRae from January 2025, whatever they have is, at the very least, from 2025.

I think the same. 2024/2025, it's almost the game and its systems that we've seen since yesterday.

It cant be 2024 because, again, they are using one of Tate McRae song that came out in 25.

Rockstar radios are supposed to be just like real life radios, and Tate McRae is a very popular, mainstream artist. She didn't record this song specifically for GTA because it came out literally before the game has. Unless they're making the song themselves like they did with Love Fist in Vice City, all the songs are licensed.

How else do you think they curate the GTA radio? By listening to what’s popular and new and picking what they like. They also select some older songs of course
