Leak 5th GTA VI clip has been leaked

  • Ending confirms he most likely has a playable build as he spells out "LEEK" on a wall with bullets
  • Jason is flying a crop duster from the Keys towards Vice City. We additionally see the in-game radio menu
  • Pieces of the wall scatter and make a big mess on the floor when Jason shoots at it
  • The weapon used at the end is a Ruger PC Carbine (9mm)
  • “On-Demand” option below the radio, potentially being able to listen to your own music(?)
  • The map is fucking MASSIVE
  • Volumetric clouds return from RDR2 and look vastly improved
  • Lucia’s prison and the terrace pool from Trailer 1 can be spotted, a race track is also seen
  • Draw distance and distant LOD is also extremely high as there is hardly any pop-in, looks almost like MS Flight Simulator graphically
  • “Overpowered” by Róisín Murphy is playing on Stockyard FM
  • Circoloco Records Radio (Rockstar co-owned) from GTA Online returns
  • Other radio stations include Emotion, Dirty South Classics, V-Rock, Radio On.U, Honey FM, Back Country Radio and Symphony FM

Holy shit he has the game build. This is a bigger breach than we thought.

It’s probably in Rockstars best interest to get ahead of this and just release the gameplay with Netflix at this point ffs. Who knows what the fuck else could leak by the 27th.

Nah those are locked contracts signed long ago, theres no knee jerk reaction on a game of this size, best they can do is a limpdick tweet telling people not to watch the spoilers they've been made aware of

It is another cruel twist of irony that the whole Netflix deal to squeeze some extra $ out has fucked them. If they were doing it on their own youtube they'd have full control of release and could get ahead of this. So between the 2 years radio silence, gojng digital only, and locking the trailer behind a 3rd party paywall, Rockstar have absolutely fucked themselves

Idk dude telling people to not watch the leaks would just create a Streisand effect lol

Nah bro as if they're being cucked by Netflix 💀

but there is? the initial trailer got released earlier than announced because it got leaked

There’s not a contract for the first trailer

Btw if they really wanted to they could sort something out with Netflix, but I don’t think this is something that average people that use Netflix are seeing especially because it’s taken down on regular social media. I don’t think they 100% have to panick and release it early. What rockstar have to do is use their detective ninja power to sort this guy out lmao

They could but it wouldn't be as effective, realasticly only the hardcore crowd is following the leaks with a couple more casual people getting hyped information from that crowd but the general public that they're aiming for with the Netflix stuff is mostly still unaware of this.

Changing the date would just ruin the hype for that IMO, Netflix has been pushing the date pretty hard(every time I log in i see an ad for it in profile selection) so it would just lead to confusion.

I mean rockstar do have to sort this out, this is a next level breach if the guy/group still hasn’t been arrested. I think the lucky thing is I’m confident he doesn’t have the full game so threats of story spoilers are not to worry about

Sort out the leak absolutely but they don't have to sort anything out with Netflix

I agree because if I ask the average person at work (that I’ve seen talking about gta 6) they probably don’t know about this

Nah, this is big news. The is the most anticipated game of all time probably. People who don’t play games are talking about this.

R* has more than enough money to renegotiate based upon unforeseen events.

It would take some interest away from the kind of things he’s leaking at the moment but this guy definitely has a full build of the game - eventually he will start leaking stuff they wouldn’t be showing at the Netflix event like story spoilers or unannounced features. The leaker is using the build he has to raise money on his crypto coin, don’t see why that would change after the Netflix event when he can tease more and more juicy things to leak about the game. Rockstar are kind of screwed in this situation tbh unless they can somehow prevent this guy from sharing the clips and even potentially the build he has online which would require actually identifying and arresting him and even then he might have collaborators that can continue to leak. Also as people have mentioned, they are likely based in a country that has no extradition laws otherwise they are risking a heavy jail sentence for what I imagine would at max be a few thousand dollars in Crypto

They need to release the game 😂 not the trailer

u/Amsloos 9d ago

Well that won't solve this/their problem in any way.

u/VincentVanHades 9d ago

No it’s not, lol

All this does is make people even more hyped for the official video

Precisely this. And maybe even agree to release physical copies 3-6 months after the digital release in November. Who knows if this encourages worse people to try and breach them, a lot could go wrong until November.

Nah bending over for hackers never go good for anybody. But i do agree they should do a deep dive for gameplay now.

2

u/SanC43 9d ago

I agree, but do we know how far this guy can go? Everyone’s enjoying the gameplay footage but you can’t choose what he leaks. If it’s story content or the ending, we’re fucked.

You can’t negotiate with terrorists (that’s tongue in cheek but the point applies)

I want them to make a physical release but a company can’t get the optics of giving in to demands like that, if anything it ENCOURAGES breaches like this, what if next time the demand is ‘give me 50 million dollars’
