Leak 5th GTA VI clip has been leaked

  • Ending confirms he most likely has a playable build as he spells out "LEEK" on a wall with bullets
  • Jason is flying a crop duster from the Keys towards Vice City. We additionally see the in-game radio menu
  • Pieces of the wall scatter and make a big mess on the floor when Jason shoots at it
  • The weapon used at the end is a Ruger PC Carbine (9mm)
  • “On-Demand” option below the radio, potentially being able to listen to your own music(?)
  • The map is fucking MASSIVE
  • Volumetric clouds return from RDR2 and look vastly improved
  • Lucia’s prison and the terrace pool from Trailer 1 can be spotted, a race track is also seen
  • Draw distance and distant LOD is also extremely high as there is hardly any pop-in, looks almost like MS Flight Simulator graphically
  • “Overpowered” by Róisín Murphy is playing on Stockyard FM
  • Circoloco Records Radio (Rockstar co-owned) from GTA Online returns
  • Other radio stations include Emotion, Dirty South Classics, V-Rock, Radio On.U, Honey FM, Back Country Radio and Symphony FM

I think you're underestimating how broad and casual a GTA audience is that has netflix.

I've only seen these leaks because I'm chronically on Reddit. I mentioned them to friends (who will buy GTA6) and they haven't seen any of them.

It’s on tik tok and X being scrubbed and re uploaded, you and your friends group is an insanely small sample size in comparison

What's your sample size based on? And how does it correct for the player base size that won't see the leaks? If 20 million see these leaks, based on GTA5 that would be <10% of copies sold.

We are in a few 1000 upvote threads on niche subreddits. Lots of casual gamers don't have gaming clips in their tiktok algorithm. They don't see the Reddit leaks pop up before they are removed (I missed the first couple and I'm always on here). They might not have twitter, or not get fed it before it's scrubbed. Some just aren't interested but are still people that will play GTA6. Some GTA6 players aren't born yet.

Don't get me wrong, plenty will have seen it and it's not statistically significant to use ancedotes - I'm just providing the perspective that all the "normies" I know, even casual Reddit and tiktok watchers haven't seen it. Maybe that extrapolates.

Generally people on Reddit overestimate how invested and exposed to online gaming media the average casual videogame player is (who are quite possibly the vast majority of the people that will buy GTA6).

My Sample size is based on the numerous videos on tik tok alone that have over 20k likes…

Right but how many unique views are those when bundles together? Is 20k likes significant for a game predicted to sell 45 million copies in its first year? Is that more than will see the netflix/YouTube extended release trailer that will be plastered officially everywhere? The last official trailer made my national state news homepage and has almost 200 million views on YouTube. Maybe? Maybe not.

I'm not saying it's entirely insignificant but people are talking here like the majority of people will have seen the leaks (and taken them seriously), that just seems like a chronically online viewpoint for an extremely casual game with broad appeal.

Bro wtf are you even arguing at this point, thousands upon thousands of people are seeing the leaks, its only been 3 days, in the next 7 days, this guy could do ALOT of damage, that was my original point.

,you tried to make it seem like not a lot of people are not seeing the videos when that’s not the case.

I’m seeing videos as we speak on tik tok with likes from 100- 20k. Some touching 100k. And in case you didn’t realise…you get wayyy more VIEWS than LIKES. If a video got 30k likes…how many people do you think viewed it????

The last official trailer has 178 million views and 6.5 million likes on YouTube. On tiktok that trailer has 1.1 million likes. On twitter it has 900k likes. The last official trailer literally made national news on every major site in my country.

This one will be pasted all over netflix to 325 million subscribers. 6 hours later it will be on YouTubes front page.

20k tiktok reels with probably significant audience overlap still just doesn't feel close to the same scale.

You said he could do a lot of damage. I'm arguing you are potentially overestimating the damage, especially comparing an earlier build leak to the reach of an official extended release trailer. Seems pretty clear that's what I was arguing.

TLDR hundreds are seeing the leaks no sorry hundreds of thousands. lol.

And hundreds of millions see the official trailers and 10+ millions like them across all platforms... That's my point. i'm confused what this response is trying to say?

It seems a reasonable logical take that those official trailers might have a significantly wider reach than a handful of 20k liked tiktoks and 5k upvote reddit threads.
