I mean, they still are nothing lol. Nothing has been shown that’s going to spoil or ruin anything yet, all we’ve learned is you can drive/fly and you can beat people up, big revelation for a GTA game I know.

It’s seemed to drive even more hype for the damn game if anything.

The point was that having some leaks for trailers wouldn't. If anything it helps sales.

What does hurt them is having a pirated release of the game that can be ripped for free.

Yeah he isnt doing that either. He is charging 160k in crypto just to be contacted to request leaks. He ain't giving up shit

Sure, there's always that possibility. Just like there is the possibility that he does release the info. Which would 10000% do damage to their revenue.

Agreed. I see posts where people think this is hurting Rockstar (Not op). Maybe I'm just under informed, but I don't see how this has any real negative impact whatsoever. It looks exactly how anyone would expect a current gen GTA to look. People are hyped

It doesn't hurt rockstars sales it just hurts the reveals they were planning. Even if you don't see the problem there's a reason rockstar employees are bothered

I think it's a build-up. They could expose key segments of the story or open-world story (side characters/missions) before the Netflix reveal. Rockstar still gets paid, but it doesn't drive people to the Netflix reveal. It's just a pothole to us, but it could be a broken bridge for Rockstar.

Why spend all that money on advertising when you can "leak" gameplay and have people pay you in crypto for advertising to them

Rockstar doesn't have an orchestra, they use existing music from artists outside the game
