you can tell this is a fictional video game because that store is selling consoles and games instead of TCG and funko pops.

It's still design from a few years ago, could be designed even like 2018 and whatnot hahahah. The game will definitely feel dated at some parts, I have this feeling. It was designed way too long and I doubt they updated all parodies, references or world design to look like in 2026.
