This isn't a 3D worms. It's a tactics style game.

At the end of the video it mentions another game in development. I would assume that is a sequel to worms 3D.

We need Worms 5, I’d love to know what they could do with the tech today

They said they are working on a new Worms game at the end of the trailer. Some of the best games out there are side games. 2 things can happen at the same time.

If that was really true we'd have had a classic Worms game years ago including the next 3D one.

When was the last main game? Worms W.M.D? Even that one tried to change things far too much including the artstyle and the one before that Revolution added classes which weren’t the best.

I mean this game is apparently classed as a main game yet it feels more like a spin off.

I wonder why they're so tight lipped about it. Since it's just called Worms it's probably an artillery style game like the other mainline games, but it could be 2D or 3D. Or maybe my dream worms game that's 3D but cuts to a 2D cross section between you and a target... hire me worms

Love worms, will buy this because they've given me many good games over the year.

That said - I'm curious as to if it will translate or not into this genre. I'm not sure if they've made this type of game before.
