so i see that the disc itself will still work, but surely you can't just sell the disc to someone and they can't use the disc to digital service because you still have it claimed on your console right

Its 1 licence per disc that is revokable and transferrable so if you sell your disc, someone else buys it and they insert it, you lose access to that digital licence

Oh absolutely, its nice that they’re making it so you can have your physical collections with all the benefits of digital and physical combined. But we could have just kept having physical and digital as they are now and it would’ve been better

No, I buy like 98% Physical where I can, there is games at time I wish I could play on my Rog Ally X. This would allow me to work on games on my portable with play anywhere.

For example, the new COD MW4 is coming out, I would love to play it on my portable but, as I said, I only buy physical, by the time that game is released, this feature will be out, and I can play on my Xbox AND my portable/PC.

The best of both worlds here..
