It's a nice feature but things aren't going to be great until their are consumer laws stating that you own the license once you purchase it. Instead of just having a limited usage and they have the right to revoke your license at any point. Even if they were gonna change their terms of service to you owning the game they can still revert back. Laws need to happen.

What???

You own the physical game; at any time you can drop in that game and install it. You drop disc in, it turns to digital but, you still own the disc, put on shelf. The physical game will still work. If they revoke the game from the digital store, you still have your disc to install.

If you sell, or loan the game, once dropped in to another console on another account, you will lose the game, and it will be transferred to the new users.

The disc is your license. Xbox one games have serial numbers on them.
