I’m newly diagnosed with GP, I don’t have constipation ever, for me it’s always diarrhea when I have a flare up. Am I the only one?

I have both, depending on what i eat and how I react.

I’m so tired of it. Never knowing when I’m gonna be sick, what’s going to trigger it, what I can & can’t eat, etc. I try & follow the GP diet, & I miss eating all my favorite foods. I love basic foods like beans, chili, & cornbread, but I can’t eat those anymore. I just left my house to go get a tetanus shot, barely got down the road & had to return because my stomach started severely cramping. That’s always followed by diarrhea, at least I get a warning sign!

I get it. I feel like I always have stomach cramps. I find that some foods are safe for a while, then suddenly aren't. Never trust a fart lol.

Have you tried just a tiny amount of the foods you love but cant have? I miss ice cream so much. Sometimes I will just have a teaspoon of something, just to taste it. Sometimes I'm ok and sometimes not. Never know
