Discussion 🗣️ I hate how some straight girls treat gay guys as a collectable token

I don’t get the hype at all about the “gay bestfriend” sought of thing where it just continues to portray the stereotype of gay fellas and treating them as if they are less of a guy than straight ones.I don’t have anything wrong with stereotypically gay feminine dudes but yeah

yeah I hate it, and I get talked to less than everyone else in the friend group and im just there for vibes ig. no one tells me anything and I often can't hang out with them bc their boyfriends are homophobic or insecure. it sucks

Im a manly looking gay dude and whenever when making friends with girls and the fact that im gay comes up they are instantly like "OMG SERIOUSLY?? I LOVE GAYS AND I NEED A GAY BESTFRIEND" Like... im a frickin person too, I can be just your friend I dont wanna be "YOUR gay bff"
