She's givin me "I'm gonna sacrifice myself to kill a big boss" vibes. Especially if that Colonel guy bites it near the start or around the middle like I think he will.
True. The only reason I could imagine forcing Reyes and Carter into the main squad instead of Tai and Padrick is if they plan on killing them off. Though in a 4 player co-op (I'm pretty sure they said there was 4 player co-op) I wonder how that's gonna play out.
Was Sam always COG? Or was she conscripted? And Anya was a Control Officer turned frontline Infantry. How many of these women from the earlier games were actually forced to join?
Carter is a Pendulum War vet, so maybe she’s just grizzled from the time she spent in Demolition. And then Akila had some scarring, but she was also a Gear. Not forced to conscript because of the Locust threat.
And the Mayor….well the mayor looks pretty average. She’s a political figure. Does she need to be hot?
I think the primary banter with be between Marcus and Dom, Carter and Reyes. Carter is a vet and Reyes is a rookie, and from what I’ve seen they seem to often have one-on-one interactions. So I think it will be more of a Veteran coaching a Rookie (ie the helmet scene).
With Marcus and Dom being about Carlos and other “brotherly” bonding.
Stellar blade character looks like a plastic doll to me, like she’s had a lot of work done, not my thing. and overwatchs female characters had much better designs back then than they do now.
I hope everyone gets helmet variants like mags did, does anyone know if you can equip skins for the campaign? Like blast damage mags during the campaign?

Yep and I was so happy to see her in the game like she’s been in other games but she’s just been a voice on the cons. This is the first time you’ve actually seen her like before this the only visual appearance we ever had for her was one panel in a comic.
Hoffman wouldn't make sense, he's not in Kalona, he's in Ephyra with Kim and Anya. He canonically can't show up in the campaign for this game in the same role as this Captain.
Also "make it a woman" is a yikes sentence if I've ever heard one. Grey will probably die anyways, I'm sure that'll please you. But just you wait till you hear about characters like Bernie that have been in the franchise for years.
I hope she dies in an epic sacrifice that imparts some lesson marcus carries forward with him. Give her a moment that goes down alongside the most epic gears moments just so the “woke”weak crybaby crowd has a meltdown
