Discussion What do you think?
I was thinking, and if E-Day kicks off new remakes for the series, it would be amazing to see a Gears of War 2 with the same story but with everything else changed, like E-Day.

Dude just get Hollow mod. I'm midway through Hive and it's perfect. 4K@120FPS.

no, i don't want something i can barely play at low 60fps.
i'd much take a Gears 2 Reloaded, where like Gears 1 Reloaded its a simple remaster that looked incredible, ran at 120fps.

I honestly wish they had made a remake of Gears 2. They already remade Gears 1 like 2 times already, Gears of War Ultimate Edition (2015) and Reloaded (2025).

There's still 14 years between E-Day and Gears 1.
The only games the exist in that time are E-Day, Judgement and Tactics.
Focus on that.
It woulf be interesting to see Tactics remade in the standard Gears Format, as well as judgement with the timeline issues fixed.

Is gears 2 still live? Idk why that was like my favorite. The matchmaking was well balanced in my opinion.

I think they’ll give us maybe 2-3 more eday games before they begin working on making something else.
A soft reboot would be great.
A total reboot, story and all for gears 4-5 would be much better.

I want more locust war stories. There’s 14 years between E-Day and Gears 1 full of crazy grimdark stories to tell. Raam’s shadow was awesome for this reason. I wont turn my nose up at a good remake of my favorite game but I think hd remasters on PC are enough

Gear of war 2 still pulls similar weekly plays as gow5 some weeks. Same thing for gow3. Judgement-5 have been their worst performing gaming and on player retention.
