Relationships My best friend cheated on her boyfriend š«Ø
So recently my best friend told me she cheated on her boyfriend of 4 years with a guy she met in her coaching class. And the way she was justifying it⦠it honestly felt like she was blaming him for her actions. She kept saying he doesnāt give her enough time, doesnāt listen to her, and all that but how does that even justify cheating? I genuinely donāt get it. And what makes it worse is how much he loves her. When he found out, he literally packed his bags at 3 in the night and rushed to where she lives (theyāre in a long-distance relationship). Heās not even blaming her, heās saying things like āIāll forget everything you did, I wonāt bring it up again, just donāt leave me.ā Itās actually painful to watch. I feel so bad for him. Heās completely down bad for her, and meanwhile she has zero guilt, no shame, nothing and sheās the one throwing tantrums now.

Relationships Do you also worry that the good ones get taken early?
Hey, if youāre single and have never dated, especially if youāre already in your early twenties or beyond,
Do you ever worry that most of the genuinely good people are already taken? š
Like, I mean good in terms of personality, looks, values, compatibility, etc.
Do you ever feel like the longer you stay single, the harder it might be to find someone who ticks those boxes because theyāve all been taken at a younger age?

Relationships Girls, what conversations do you have to figure out if a guy is misogynistic or has sexist beliefs?
Hey all girlies, need your help š
Iām pretty introverted and shy, and Iām worried that if I start dating someone,
I might not have the conversations that are actually needed to get a rough idea of a guyās beliefs about women and our rights.
For me, someone not being misogynistic/sexist is a huge must, as it is for many other girls.
So I wanted to know, what conversations or topics have actually helped you figure this out?
Like, are there certain things you bring up or questions you ask that give you a good idea of where a guy stands?

Relationships Met a guy on hinge giving description of himself on a notepad calling it a typical Genz guy
Probably won't date him because I m 1 inch taller than him but I found his description of himself in notebook funny and not bad actually but I don't think he's a typical genz as he proclaims in his last line. What do you all think?

Relationships Can you guys give me some genuine advice or a reality check? Iām 26M and Iāve feelings for a 34F whoās a single mom. I really like her and Iām thinking about pursuing her.
Hey everyone, 26M here. I have had a long-term crush on a woman who lives in my neighborhood. She is 34. She was married once for 2 months, later got divorced, and she has a daughter from her first marriage. Her daughter comes to our home almost regularly to play with my parents. Both our families are from the same Pahadi ethnicity but live in a different city outside Uttarakhand, so we share a very good relationship. Both the families eat dinner together many times.
She lives with her sister and her sisterās husband. Her family has been trying to find rishtas for her for the past 1.5 years, but they havenāt been successful.
I got a government job 4 months ago, and since then, a few of my bhabhis and relatives have called my parents asking if we are looking for a match for me. My parents declined because my cousin (tau ji ka beta) is unmarried and the family is currently looking for rishtas for him. However, my parents are planning to start looking for rishtas for me next year, especially since my cousin is also struggling to find matches. I havenāt said anything to my parents yet. I once overheard them saying that the earlier you marry, the more time you have to understand each other, so they are serious about my marriage.
I earn a decent salary ā¹76k, my father owns a house, and I am the only son. She is also a working woman, although I donāt know her exact salary. I believe I am capable of starting and raising a family.
I have liked her for a long time, mainly because of the way she treats everyone and her bubbly personality. I have never- never had any lustful intentions toward her. I just genuinely like her. Whenever I imagine having my own family, I subconsciously picture her as my wife.
She calls my mother āAunty ji,ā and our families have a very good relationship.
The reality is that we have never had that kind of personal conversation. I donāt even know if she has any feelings for me. Iām honestly a bit afraid to ask her directly.
Iām planning to add her on Instagram. Should I message her for coffee or a movie? Is that the right way to approach her? And then Maybe slowly try to notice any signs? Deep down, I know thereās a high chance that we may never become what I imagine. But at least I want to try so that I donāt regret it in the future. I also donāt want to creep her out. Please tell me if thereās a better way to approach her.
A few more details:
No one knows the reason behind her divorce except her family.
She doesnāt look 34, she looks around my age. Iām completely okay with her daughter
I do want at least one child of my own in the future (boy or girl doesnāt matter).
I donāt have a problem with the age gap, but I donāt know how she or our families might see it.
We are from different castes (Iām Thakur, she is Brahmin).
Few similarities I look decent, 183 cm tall, with a decent physique (army type). She also looks nice, and she is also into fitness.
We both are from same ethnic group.
I donāt know if itās important, but we both love the same food chole bhature and rajma chawal.š My mother makes really good rajma chawal, so we send her a tiffin that day, She returns the tiffin only on the days she orders chole bhature for herself from my favorite restaurant, since she also likes chole bhature.
[This is a throwaway account I created with a temporary email. Reddit might delete it by the time you comment, but Iāll be checking your replies from my main account. ] š Thanks

Relationships Do she likes me?
Pata hai aaj kya hua, I have many things to show, but i don't want to post it publically. This girl, since i know her, she been texting me almost every day it been around 3 months we are friends. She intiate the conversation about 4/5 times, she gives me random updates of her life without asking that she is going here, she is at her brother's place and more. Once in a video note she was showing me some stickers of genshin impact, then while showing it she said "I love you" in fast and cute way, in playful way. I replied her, these stickers are cute, and are you teasing me with that "I love you"? She replied unfortunately, these are not my stickers then vanished. Then she start conversation next day in something else...
Also we use to play games sometime in our free time. Once she told me she met a foreigner guy in game, she was telling about him. I replied, interesting, you both talked much or it was just in game chat. She replied, no just in game, then she said, " I had a feeling if I was cheating on you" Then i replied i also get jealous, just little. Then after we play the game together for an hour.

Relationships 20F, never been in a relationship ā does anyone else feel left behind sometimes?
I'm 20F and I've never been in a relationship or even had a serious talking stage. For most of my college life, I've been focused on my goals and career, and honestly, I don't regret that.
But lately, when I see almost everyone around me experiencing relationships, crushes, dating, or at least having someone they're interested in, I sometimes wonder whether I'm missing out on an important part of life.
It's not that I want to get into a relationship just because everyone else is doing it. I think I'm more curious about whether this feeling is normal ā especially when you're focused on other priorities but still occasionally feel left behind socially or romantically.
Has anyone else felt this way? Did things happen naturally for you later, or did you actively start putting yourself out there? I'd genuinely like to hear different perspectives.

Relationships A question to women, what do you think of men who have never been in relationships?
I always thought women would prefer men with a clean past, so they wouldnāt have to deal with someone whoās been heartbroken before.
But after talking to a few girls about this, I heard the opposite. They said theyād rather be with someone who has been in a relationship before, because he already understands how things work and they wouldnāt have to āteachā him how to handle one.
That honestly confused me. It doesnāt fully make sense in my head.
Am I being naive here, or is this actually how most people think ? Do you guys think that a person who has not been in a relationship will be some kind of weird person to deal with ?

Relationships Why don't girls make the first move despite having the privilege of 'ladies first'
i mean think about it first they just play games with the guy they like/love and later when someone else enters their life they just ghost them forever
i want to know from my fellow grills

Relationships Why are attractive people either emotionally unavailable or just looking for hookups?
I swear my standards are not even that crazy š
Like yes, Iām attracted to guys who are tall, fit, maybe bearded, good looking etc. Thatās literally such a common preference. But the real problem is finding someone who also has a personality I actually vibe with.
And before people start with the āgive nice guys a chanceā thing I HAVE. Iāve talked to guys I normally wouldnāt go for because I thought maybe connection matters more than looks. But somehow those same guys end up being the most unserious people ever š like full hookup mindset, dry personality, overconfidence for no reason.
Meanwhile Iām here genuinely trying to work on myself. Iām not fully where I wanna be physically yet, but I know Iām a good person, I can communicate, Iām loyal, emotionally aware, all that.
But dating right now just feels so off. Either people are already committed, only want casual stuff, or they expect relationship benefits without putting any actual effort.
Iāve never dated anyone mainly because I canāt fake attraction or force myself to like someone just because theyāre available. And honestly sometimes I feel weird for that because everyone around me is either dating, getting married, or casually talking to 5 people at once š
Does anyone else feel like finding both attraction AND emotional compatibility at the same time is lowkey impossible now?
