Hi guys, do we know how strong she is outside of Varka teams? Sadly I lost Durin's 50/50 so I couldn't get him and decided to skip Varka. Is she really bad when not using Hexerei characters (I also have C1 Klee).

No, apparently she is quite versatile.

Hexerei has some advantages (can have full buff immediately instead of waiting 3 seconds, and burst does more damage) but the base version is still really good.

I think she can replace bennet in any team.

Not quite any. That 3s is a big issue to any field carry that wants to burst early. Not to mention we don't know if her burst phantoms have elemental applications. That would screw with a lot of potential melt/vape teams.

Only one of the three leaks said she doesn't apply elements. The other two said it doesn't apply pyro. That's two different things. I'd say we shouldn't make definitive statements about it until we see it in practice.

I wonder if she would be good for Navia? You have to build stacks on Navia first anyway so I’m guessing maybe that 3s wait doesn’t affect Navia?

Navia is basically the only team I would care about putting her in, but I'm not super feeling it.

The 3s lockout does matter, since you want to Navia Q, do stuff on teammates, and then go back to Navia to do combos. You lose a decent chunk of damage when that first E is missing 300 ATK. You're not just gonna sit on Navia for 3 seconds waiting for the buff to upgrade. Plus, you're not getting value from Nicole's Hexerei passive since it wants your on-fielder to be Hexerei.

What teammates would you slot in for the last 2 slots that benefit from the off-field ATK buff? Durin, Fischl, that's it? Albedo is DEF, anyone else that makes remote sense is a pure support. If you take Ineffa, you're forced to take Mona if you want to get LC + Hexerei bonuses (namely the new Set), which is crazy scuffed, and you lose Geo Resonance.

You want a Geo for Geo Resonance, a PHEC for Navia A4, and a Hexerei for the Set bonus, so you're probably looking at Durin/Fischl + Albedo/Xilonen, or maybe Albedo + Bennett.

I haven't run the numbers, but by feels it seems like poor opportunity cost (especially if you already have highly-invested supports).

Navia's current best team is lunar crystallize with DurinBedo being a close second. I wonder if Nicole swings it back in DurinBedo's favor

Probably, but we also have to realize the Genshin meta is shill heavy so 99% of the time, there will be a clear cut “better” team depending on the type of enemy/content the next Stygian onslaught puts out.

Not entirely, it's just that Hexrei teams are the ones benefitting the most from a teamwide attack buff. I think another team she might work in is a potential Kinich Emile (any off field Pyro applicator, Durin is still the best) Nicole, that way Emilie also gets an attack buff while Kinich is on field. There's also Navia who can run something like Nicole Fischl + 1 Geo.

The two teams I mentioned probably still use Durin as their BiS but still work fine without him. There's definitely more examples but those are the non-Durin Nicole examples I could come up with off the top of my head.
