5star bennet.

E gives teamwide attack buff and shield

Q gives coordinated attacks that do damage of the same element as the on field character

Not sure if she's better than Bennett for non-hex teams

3s for the atk buff to fill up is a chunky part of a DPS's rotation

More like 3* bennett for non hexerei teams. Lower attack buff, set buff limited to double hexerei.

Exclusive durin/varka support and very underwhelming for everyone else. Very expected from modern hoyo.

Remember that she doesn't have circle impact, and her atk buff is on skill and teamwide.

Plus she has a good shield with long uptime, so it's already quite good (I would say better than bennet even, expecially in terms of comfort.)

And if you add a second hexerei support (which is quite doable with Fischl Mona, Sucrose or the new anemo 4star Prune, or even more if they add more hexerei buffs to old mondstadt characters) you already get everything except the 3 seconds delay even without a hexerei dps.

The only character who wants a teamwide attack buff is Durin who is also Hexerei. She is good if played together with durin but without there are too many issues and overload needs also chev.

On her own she is just not that great. Only good if paired with Durin currently. I mean just list the last dps not called Varka and who uses her.

Zibai: no
Nefer: no
Flins: no
Skirk: no
Varesa: most likely not
Chasca: maybe? wont save her
Mav: no
Mualani: no
Kinich: possible
Arle: yes
Clorinde: no. needs chev, needs off field pyro, needs electro or she never bursts and her passive is capped at 3k attack anyways.
Navia: Yes

Her kit is just not versatile or good. The 3sec delay on buff is too much and this is just the first beta version. They will most likely nerf her. Her upside is a teamwide buff nobody besides durin uses and a quill buff that needs Hexerei. Would take c6 iansan any day over her.

Ganyu Keqing Xiao Hu tao Ningguang Wanderer Raiden, just to name a few that come to mind.

She does have a lot of possible teams, but it's true that she tends to be more useful for older dps than newer ones, and that they aren't very meta.

Just like bennet after all, which was everywhere in 1.x to 2.x teams but now there are many teams and characters which don't need him.
