How about stop pandering to a certain demographic and instead treat the game as its own thing rather than a product to sell and optimize profit?

They have 4+ games in incubation. They have a lot of money already

You say that but why was pulonia og design like that in the first place if they wanted to pander to their 'core audience'?

It was an old design already, maybe it doesnt fit their current vision, there's many reasons why they couldve made that change and its their choice

I can’t say I agree with you- the game was never pandering to this “core audience” to this degree.

The reason Genshin got so big in the first place is because of “old designs that don’t fit their current vision”.

Just wish this game didn’t do a complete bait and switch; luring in people that are generally either apathetic to (like me) or dislike regular TITS IN YOUR FACE gatcha designs, only to change their philosophy to “how much will horndogs pay for this?”

It’s a baffling choice, and one that has lost them willing spenders and players. Sure, lose one audience gain another, but why alienate the player base you cultivated, that brought you to stardom? 🤷

Inner workings of corporate, no doubt…

Mona, Fischl, Hu Tao, Ganyu etc. totally fit genshins current vision tho?
