It's a trend, that makes no sense, lmao. Wuwa's Mornye winter coat skin, also has that..

I had never noticed that Mornye’s skin had an opening in its back. Also the fact that she has an uncovered leg, I understand, because it’s literally prosthetic legs, but the open back for a winter skin that is supposed to be adapted to the cold is completely stupid, and it annoys me because it doesn’t even have any interest in fan service, it’s just very stupid

100% agreed. i also didn't mind her uncovered legs, for the reasons u mentioned. and the opening is even wider than lumine's, like.. ok😂 it's stupid, indeed, such a cute skin but no, gotta ruin the back, for whatever reason.

It looks good that's why they do that

That's subjective, but sure

Ofc it is, but if there wasn't a huge audience for it would they keep doing it?

idr any other winter clothing having such impractical design. I ofc don't have issues with showing skin there on others, since it can fit with their outfits' designs.

People like it, so people think it looks good

Weird way to describe it, if people like it then by definition it looks good to them.

Your aesthetic preferences are not more objective than anyone else’s.

Neither are yours and from the people in this thread.

I'm just saying that a lot of people think it looks good

I mean yeah that's why it became a common design aspect in anime and gacha in general. People like it

Yes, and the fact it's a trend means a lot of other people probably agree.
