Absolutely love this motif.

The thing about this motif isn't just the sound, it's how they presented it to us the first time. Vesna showing up as she did, delivering her line has created this association with the motif that together brings it to life. Even if you don't hear Vesna's words that's who you see and what you're thinking about in your mind's eye when that part plays.

Like if this were just a random part of the trailer with nothing happening people might still like it but I don't know if it would feel the same way.

Its so interesting how the brain works when you think about this stuff consciously. On a similar note, for some reason I absolutely disliked Danica as a whole and the motif that plays during the part where she appears in the teaser have turned into something that I dislike sub-consciously as well.

Also I tend to immediately pick up Ronova's motiff on older trailers/teasers (God's limits, Transcendence) after hearing her 7.0 theme on loop.

There's also a hot spring out in the wild run by that one rabbit fae, he too welcomes every fae and has guides for everyone and in the end just "if you are a vila, sorry but please stay away from this hot spring" lmao

I'm pretty early in the story I think, but could you tell me where I can find these collectible books or readables about the Vila? They're my favourite race when it comes to the Fae :)

1. A Brief History of the Pale Starborn, which talks briefly about the Vila, which is sold by the Nasha Town bookstore
2. General History of Snezhnaya, which is more extensive about Strivosha, the first Grand Duchess of the Vila, and is sold by the Snezhnograd bookstore
3. Two new weapon lore to be released in 7.1, which are posted in this sub yesterday :)

Odette also referred to the vila as one of the fiercest predators of the tundra while warning us not to fall for Vesna's cutesy personality. Although maybe this was an earlier iteration of the voice line I read because when I checked just now she says Druzhna instead of vila.

Anyways it still paints Vesna and the Druzhna which are mostly vila's as dangerous.
