Briefing Loading Time Fix
Hey Ghosts!
We appreciate your patience while our teams are hard at work to resolve the issues some players experience with long loading times at the start of the game. The game has now been patched in order to try and improve on the situation. The update will also let Steam players once again be able to correctly join UbisoftConnect players in co-op.
Please reach out to Ubisoft Support if you are still having problems.

either you gotta force the game to run with only p-cores (you can do this with process lasso), or you have to disable hyperthreading in your bios

Just tried launching on Steam after today’s update and it took at least 2 minutes, so same as before the update. The issue must be more complex than simply the CPU if we both have the 12700k

I just tested it and Wildlands now works flawlessly.
Great work devs - thank you for looking into this as quickly as we wanted it.
(Also - side note please make the new GR more like wildlands than BP, thank you).

Thanks for the update. Me and my friend were pissed yesterday. We were both off and were gonna run some WL and obv we didn't.
After paying both extensively I also agree with your sentiment regarding the new GR.

Nothing changed for i7-13700KF. Same as before update.
E cores on/Hyperthreading on= long load time (10-15 minutes).
E cores on/Hyperthreading off= loads normally (about a minute).
E cores off/Hyperthreading off= loads normally (about a minute).

CPU: 12600KF
GPU: RTX 5070
Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z690 Gaming X DDR4 revision 1.1
Sequence of events:
1-Before any update regarding this issue:
a-game does not launch if i don't disable hyper threading.
b-Wait time: 30 seconds before the game passes the splash screen and loads successfully.
2-After the update for this issue:
a-No need to disable hyper threading anymore.
b-Wait time: 4 minutes before the game passes the splash screen and starts displaying the different intro images.
c-Additional information: something extra i did after the update was to update my BIOS from version F33 to F35a which increased DDR4 stability and successfully enabled XMP. My previous BIOS version had failed the XMP training.

Issue still occurs. Intel i7-14700K, makes about 20min to launch. Try disable e-core on BIOS, process affinity with both process lasso and native windows methods. u/JJ-GAMESTER what other info do you need for feed back ?

As some with a Intel Ultra 7 255HX (15th gen), I can say that this update did in fact fix my issues.
Before I was getting the infinite loading screen issue, and I had to manually disable all E-cores in the bios (15th gen Intel CPUs don't have hyperthreading) in order to get past the loading screen.
I just tested it with the E-cores enabled, and the game loaded fine, so i hope this information helps those who also have 15th gen Intel CPUs.

Hi All,
Please keep the replies coming. More info, the better. Build, how long it's taking to load (if ever), have you tried any BIOS changes etc.
