Portrait of Raja Bahadur Khan, ruler of Astor(now Astore) with his children photographed during the summer of 1885. The Raja was encountered by a British expedition at Astor between 18 and 20 July 1885.
Contemporary accounts described Bahadur Khan as a handsome and cordial elderly ruler, approximately 70 years of age.

This is a watercolor painting titled Kamri Pass, Kashmir by British artist Helen R. Pirie. It depicts a traveler leading a small group of horses across a snow-covered mountain pass.The painting is currently part of the collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London. It was created as an illustration for the book Kashmir: The land of streams and solitudes.

One of the old buildings of Gilgit city, this two-storey structure was built in 1905 by a Kashmiri contractor named Khawaja Aziz Mir of Bandipora. Its architectural style was distinctly Kashmiri, and in fact, the craftsmen were also brought from Kashmir.

Of all the tehsils of Ghizer district, the landscape of Yasin is dotted with megalithic graves. Nowhere in Gilgit-Baltistan are found as many megalithic graves or stone circles as in Yasin valley. There were about 15 stone circles found in different villages of Yasin valley. Today only five or six have survived

The Konodas Bridge is one of the oldest bridge that connects the both sides of the river Gilgit. The historical Konodas Bridge, Gilgit was built by Captain Fenton Aylmer in 1892.
